The Grange Courtyard is a multi-award winning bed and breakfast, providing a real home-from-home accommodation for business trips, holidays, short breaks or weekends away.The property comprises of six unique cottages which have been converted from farm buildings with a total of twenty individually designed executive en-suite rooms. All rooms have direct dial telephone. There are pleasant gardens. There are four four poster beds, one family room and three further twin rooms. All rooms have hairdryer, tv and video or dvd player, bath robes and complimentary toiletries.

This Hotel is Non-smoking throughout.

Although only a mile from Junction 23 of the M1, The Grange Courtyard, awarded Silver Award for the Best Bed and Breakfast Award in the East Midlands 2006 and RAC Little Gem, stands in its own beautifully tended grounds which positively radiate peace and tranquillity. It's believed that part of this lovely Grade II listed building dates back to the 11th century. The house was extended in Tudor and Georgian times and amongst the distinguished men and women reputed to have stayed here is no less a personage than Queen Elizabeth I. Recently, the owner of the Grange, Linda Lawrence, has lovingly restored the house to provide luxury accommodation, all rooms have en-suite bathrooms, with both bath and a shower, and are provided with luxury bathrobes, hair dryer and organic toiletries especially created for the Grange.

The rooms all have direct dial telephones, along with a TV, video cassette player or DVD player and clock radio alarms.The comfortable residents' lounge overlooks the garden and there's a fully licensed bar on the balcony above the lounge in one of the cottages which have been imaginatively created from former agricultural buildings attached to the Grange and provide luxury accommodation in 20 individually designed executive suites. These have their own dining room, kitchen and cooker.

Routebeschrijving

The Grange Courtyard is very easy to find, the instructions below give directions from the M1 motorway. 1. At junction 23 of the M1 turn onto the A512 towards Shepshed. 2. At the first set of traffic lights turn right onto Leicester Road. 3. Follow this road all the way along until you come to a Mini-Roundabout with a Petrol Station on the right. At this point turn right onto Forest Street. 4. We are situated a little way up on the right hand side. The entrance gates are electronic, and the courtyard has parking within.
