Rooms at the Castle Hotel boast character and charm, whilst offering facilities such as a flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi internet access, feather duvets and tea/coffee making facilities.

Green's restaurant serves traditional Welsh Food and offers a daily blackboard featuring local specialities. The 2 bars include the traditional, oak-panelled Lounge Bar, with its huge fireplace and comfy arm chairs. The contemporary Castle Bar has big TV screens and an upbeat, modern atmosphere.

Local attractions include Afan Forest Park, Brecon Beacons National Park, the stunning Swansea Bay and Gower coastlines. All this and yet only 40 minutes from Cardiff, the vibrant Welsh capital.

By Car - The hotel is approximately 40 minutes west of Cardiff. - Leave the M4 at junction 43. - Take the A465 and follow signs for Neath, and then Neath town centre. - We are situated on the right-hand side, approximately 300 yards past the railway station. Br Train: Neath railway station is only 2 minutes' walk away and has direct links to Swansea, London Paddington, Manchester Piccadilly and Newcastle upon Tyne. By Air: Cardiff International Airport is approximately 40 minutes' drive. Bristol Airport is only 1 hour away. By Sea: Irish Ferries at Pembroke Dock is approximately 1 hour's drive, and Fishguard Dock with the Stenna services to Roslare is approximately 1 hours and 30 minutes' drive.
