Originally built in the 18th century, and situated on the main N7 motorway just outside the heritage town of Roscrea, this hotel was exquisitely refurbished, retaining its "olde worlde" character.

Set in the rolling countryside of the monastic midlands, the hotel is nestled beneath the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Racket Hall shares this charming backdrop with Roscrea's wonderfully challenging 18-hole golf course which has fast become one of Ireland's most popular golfing destinations. Its central location means the hotel is only a short distance (60 to 90 minutes) from Dublin, Limerick, Galway, Kilkenny, Carlow, Athlone, and Waterford. It is a popular overnight stop for people travelling to and from Dublin and Shannon Airports, and is highly recommended by all travel guides.
