The Orangery was the 1817 home of Queen Charlotte. It has a rich history, with wonderful rooms around an Italianate courtyard garden - all the luxury of a 5-star hotel, but with a personal touch.

Although quite small, The Orangery is one of the finest guest houses in Bath. It is on Sydney Place, which is the street where the novelist Jane Austen once lived.

An 8-minute flat walk from the Roman Baths, shops and restaurants, Queen Charlotte's Orangery is centrally located away from the noise. Queen Charlotte was the wife of King George III.

Breakfast at The Orangery is served in either the rotunda atrium or the garden. Private functions for up to 25 guests can be accommodated.

By Road: - If you are entering on the main A4 road into Bath, watch out for the traffic lights after the 'Morrisons' supermarket (which is set back away from the road, but sign posted) - Shortly after this, turn left in to Cleveland Place and head over the bridge into Bathwick Street, passing the fire station on your left (don't take the next right this is a minor road, and ignore the next 2 roads on your right, Henrietta Street and Daniel Street) - Carry on ahead and bear right at the traffic lights keeping the Holborne Museum on your left - Turn left after 100 metres into Sydney Place - Take the next turning on the right where it says 'Sidney Mews', followed by an arrow - 50 yards (45 metres) along, you will find the door to the The Orangery, which is the walled building the right-hand side By Rail: Queen Charlottes Orangery is less than 1 mile from Bath Spa Station. There are 2 trains per hour towards Bristol or London and the journey time is approximately 90 minutes.
