Located in Umbria, the heart of Italy, La Locanda Del Borgo is the ideal starting point for a journey through the Italian history and countryside.

The hotel is surrounded by secular trees and flowering edges and is a quiet retreat in a land of saints and pilgrims. Renovation and refurbishment have redefined the spaces by respecting the original architecture. The careful process was done with recovery materials, as it was handed down over the centuries, such as grey stone and brickwork floors, robust oak and chestnut wood beams.

Wide, stylish and comfortable, all the rooms and suites are exclusively furnished with late 19th century or early 20th century furniture, offering the comfort and the facilities of an up-to-date hotel, with an extra touch of charm and privacy.

The Locanda del Borgo got a mention in the 2008 Gambero Rozzo guide to Agriturismi and Inns, in the section Top 10 not to miss.

Coming from Bologna-Florence: A1 motorway up to Arezzo junction, then continue via E45 highway direction Città di Castello, carry on E45 direction Perugia , leave E45 at Montone-Pietralunga junction. By Train: Linea FF.SS. from Rome to Terni, Perugia S.Anna or Perugia Ponte S.Giovanni, then by Ferrovia Centrale Umbra up to Umbertide. Continue with local buses to Pietralunga. Nearest railways: Fossato di Vico (Gubbio), Ponte San Giovanni (Perugia) Nearest Airports: PEG Perugia Sant'Egidio, FRL Forlì
