The first reference to the castle was discovered in Perugia's historic archives in a document dating back to the 13th-century. This historic establishment is now a comfortable hotel.

By Car: From the south: - Take the A1 and exit towards Orte/Terni/Perugia. - Merge onto the E45. - Take the exit toward Perugia/Cesena. - Take the 2nd exit towards Gualdo Tadino/Valfabbrica. - Turn towards Ponte Valleceppi. - Turn left at the stop sign. After approximately 400 metres, turn left again. - At the roundabout, continue straight on, crossing the village of Ponte Valleceppi. - Pass over the bridge, continuing straight for 3 km towards Perugia/Casaglia. - At the sign for Perugia, go on for 700 metres. - Turn left round the church towards Ponte San Giovanni. - After 300 metres you will find the hotel on the right-hand side. From the north: - Take the A1 and exit towards Valdichiana. - Merge onto Raccordo Perugia/Bettolle towards Cesena. - Exit towards Ponte Felcino/Valfabbrica/Gualdo Tadino. - Turn left at the stop sign and after approximately 400 metres, turn left again. - At the roundabout, continue straight on, crossing the village of Ponte Valleceppi. - Then, as above.
