Owned and managed by an American/Italian couple, Hotel Milano was originally a monastery dating back to the 19th century, located in the pleasant spa village of Salice Terme.

The hotel is located 50 metres from the Terme di Salice establishment. Book a wellness package and enjoy a host of facilities and treatments.

Hotel Milano aims at being your ideal base for a relaxing stay and is the perfect spot for families travelling with children. Situated in the centre of the village, Hotel Milano has a large private park with swimming pool, an outdoor bar and is only 100 meters from the spa complex.

The Milano has a characteristic tavern, ideal for a glass of wine or a beer while mixing with the locals. It serves sandwiches and the famous locally produced salami. The large and luminous dining room and veranda opening out onto the park are ideal settings for dining all year round.

Stroll through the village and enjoy the many ice-cream parlours, cafes and restaurants; practice your favourite sport in the many nearby venues (swimming, golf, cycling etc.).

For those who have seen Rome, been to Venice and done Florence, this is the true Italy, yet to be discovered by tourists.

The swimming pool is open from May to October.

Informatie over het gebied

Salice Terme (spa) was known and appreciated by the Romans for its curative waters, still today among the richest in hydrogen sulphide. Italians and tourists come to Salice to relax but also to be healed. The sulphur water is well known for therapeutic effectiveness. Salice was the first place where iodine was discovered in the water and the area's iodine mud therapies are curative for a veritable host of illnesses. Treatments with the sulfur and bromide water in mist or liquid form are for: ears, nose and throat; gynecology; dermatology; physical rehabilitation. Salice Terme is situated in the Oltrepo. To best savour the wide range of local wines, the Oltrepo has a rich gastronomic tradition.
