Beautifully situated within the wonderful Florentine landscape, a few minutes from Florence, our residence is an ancient medieval monastery from the 13th century, a romantic place for an exclusive holiday.

Our residence is located in the little medieval town of Bacchereto. In order to maintain the originality, reflect the classical Tuscan style and recreate the traditional atmosphere, while also providing the contemporary comforts, the buildings were completely restored.

As well as the accommodation which is fitted with genuine antique furniture, there is a cosy bar, pretty library, comfortable and refined dining rooms, TV lounge, music room with a piano and a billiard room with a beautiful 18th century table which has also been lovingly restored. Along with all these facilities, there is a private swimming pool in the garden just in front of the farm, with the stunning scenery of the Tuscan hills as a beautiful background.

The hotel plans to open 4 brand-new apartments, equipped with a private swimming pool. The apartments will also share the Colline's jacuzzi, which is suitable for a maximum of 7 persons, and fitness centre with its modern Techno-gym machines and small bar.

In the near future, the hotel will also offer a small spa for massages and other treatments, a football field and a tennis court.

These are the most beautiful double rooms we can offer to our guests. They feature intimate spaces where our guests will feel warmly embraced by their soft colours and and comfortable furnishings. Every one of those rooms is perfect for a couple who wish to relax and escape the stress, work and noise of daily life. From the windows it is possible to enjoy different corners of the wonderful Tuscan hills landscape which surrounds our villa.

This suite is the biggest room in our farmhouse and it is called the Wheat Bedroom as it is characterised by its green decor. There are 3 large windows which feature a wonderful view of the landscape which surrounds the farm. This suite is the most isolated of our rooms, so it offers an intimate and romantic atmosphere, completed immersed in silence, nature and peace.

In the spring and summertime it is possible to enjoy the meals outside in the garden, close to the pool, amidst the beautiful landscape around the farmhouse.

Located in the heart of the Tuscan hills in the picturesque medieval little village of Bacchereto, between Florence, Prato and Pistoia, this residence is surrounded by wonderful vinegar and olive groves, offering the opportunity to spend a relaxing holiday in an exclusive, comfortable and elegant setting, immersed in the traditional natural Tuscan landscape. In the past, Bacchereto was famous for the production of pottery known as Majolica; this town used to be the centre point for this kind of production from the end of the 13th Century until the middle of the 15th Century. The richness of the ground, the position and the dramatic difference in the weather between winter and summer, makes the Carmignano and Bacchereto area one of the best places for the cultivation of olive oil trees. So thanks to its position in this territory, this residence produces an excellent olive oil of great quality and the beautiful Carmignano red wine. Our resort offers the possibility to enjoy an ideal and relaxing holiday in a secluded environment surrounded by nature and famous historical sites. Within easy reach are the Medici Villas in Poggio a Caiano and Artimino, and a burial ground dating back to the Etruscan Time in Montefortini e Comeana. You can visit Siena and its Duomo, Piazza del Campo, Palazzo Pubblico, the Mangia Tower and the Duomo of San Gimignano. There is also Pisa and the Piazza dei Miracoli, where it is possible to see the Romanesque cathedral, the leaning tower and the Monumental Cemetery.

By Car: From Pistoia on the Firenze-Mare A11 motorway: - Take the Prato Ovest exit and then Viale Leonardo Da Vinci SP 126 towards Florence. - At the 2nd roundabout, turn right onto Viale Salvador Allende. - Continue for approximately 5.5 km down Viale 16 Aprile. - Head straight on passing 3 roundabouts and when you reach the 4th, turn right into Via Torricelli. - Then turn left into the 1st street, Via Bocca di Stella. - Proceed onto the Via Baccheretana for approximately 3.5 km and then turn left into Via Di Toia. - After approximately 500 metres you will find our residence. From Florence on the Firenze-Mare A11 motorway: - Exit at Prato Est and follow the Viale Leonardo Da Vinci towards Pistoia. - At the 3rd roundabout, turn left onto Viale Salvador Allende. - Then follow the instructions above.
