The hotel is situated within the Finca de la Magdelena country estate in the highest point of Soto del Barco boasting stunning views and a unique, peaceful setting.

The hotel itself is a palatial building that dates back to the 18th century and was home to a number of Spanish noble figures.

It provides guests with the ideal place to relax in. There is a fantastic spa with a thermal circuit and a variety of treatments to relax and soothe.

The large pavilion building offers 10 large banquet and conference rooms for up to 3000 people. These rooms have big windows and views of the town or the river.

At the Magdalena's restaurant, you can sample fusion cuisine with amazing views over breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a cafe and bar service.

The hotel was entirely reformed in 2007 and consists of 37 rooms decorated in accordance with the rustic style of the Palacio de la Magdalena.
The most dominating feature of the library are two splendid windows, making it an ideal place to relax after a a day in the mountains or on the beach. You can also rest in front of a chimney fire in the T.V room.

All your needs can be satisfied thanks to the conference room, the restaurant, the tea room and chapel.

The surrounding area of the hotel offers a wide variety of activities such as windsurfing, rock climbing, potholing, horse riding, paint balling, sailing, surfing and scuba diving.

Breakfast is served everyday between 7.00 and 11:00 In the hotel restaurant the guests can enjoy the view while they enjoy the delicious dishes that fuse traditional Spanish cooking with the latest gastronomic tendencies. Don´t deny yourself our marvelous sample menu. The restaurant is open every day for lunch (from 13.00 to 16.00) and for dinner (from 20.00 to 23.00) The cafeteria is open everyday from 07.00 to 24.00, perfect if you fancy a cup of coffee or something a little stronger. The restaurant and the cafeteria are both accessible for persons with limited mobility. The hotel also offers room service until 23.00
