    The staff at this hotel are amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable. Other hotels may be "five star," but the people here make the Sandringham feel like home away from home.

    "I would definitely stay there again. The staff and location far outweighed the inconvenience of no hot water on one morning and noisey bar patrons." (108308107)

    Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is in an excelent location for travelers, close to bus and train stations and walking distance to interesting places and great resteraunts and shopping venues.

    there was no hot water at about 7 am my first morning but at other times of day it was fine. Patrons at the local bars are very noisy at throwing out time ( about 1:30 am) which would only affect people who like to start their day early and is not something which the hotel can control

    "Hotel was everything I required for an overnight stay. All staff, reception, catering and housekeeping, were friendly and efficient. I would have no hesitation in staying again - and all those stairs keep you fit!" (107913575)

    Excellent location, friendly efficient staff, value for money.

    It's NOT a bad point as far as I'm concerned but some would object to having to walk up the stairs-- the hotel has no lift.

    Room was clean and information about hotel readily accessible. Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

    The only criticism was that there was no lift.

    Good price, excellent position, very friendly staff. lovely breakfast

    colleague had very noisy room in front on first night. Mattress was very hard and could feel the springs which made for uncomfortable night. Chair in bathroom very stained, couldn't get hot water for shower

    Excellent room and breakfast, very good value for money. Staff were extremely friendly with brilliant customer service.

    Had trouble with a lack of hot water although when reported to hotel staff this was dealt with promptly and the issue was resolved.

    One of the two rooms was clean. It was alright for the price. The staff were friendly, welcoming and took pride in their work. Even the night security staff was able to answer the phone and give relevant information. The English Breakfast was tasty, filling and worth the price.

    The second room had been occupied by a smoker and the air was fouled. It was difficult to relax in that environment. The absence of an elevator (lift) made the climb to the 2nd floor an evening workout (exercise).

    "It was great and the location made life so easy because it was a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go...A bit noisy at night though because of night clubbers but we had a great time." (108767209)

    The staff were fantastic,friendly and helpful

    the wall paper was so depressing,made the room look so old and the bathroom facilities were working but looked really old with the plumbing pipes visible.

    The room was quite big, and the facilities were fine too.

    Other than going up many stairs and the room has a little bit of smell, everything was great.

    Lo mejor el desayuno. En general el personal fue bastante amable.

    No tuvieron encuenta la observación de nuestra llegada de madrugada, a pesar de hacer la reserva con bastante tiempo y advertir la hora a la que llegábamos. Hay que hacer hincapié en que NO HAY ASCENSOR, y hay que subir un piso de escaleras para llegar a la recepción.

    hotel staff very helpful. Hotel in excellent location for St David's Hall and other venues. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

    Only downside no lift, which I didn't have a problem with for l night.

    Clean and neat room, not as noisy as I'd expected for a hotel in the middle of the city. Only five minutes walk from the station.
