    Very good facilities, bright and cheerful decor, excellent cooked breakfast (good choice of items, cheerful service)

    None really - bath a litle too small for a comfortable bathe - I restricted myself to showers

    Nice rooms, very comfortable bed, good breakfast, free parking and accessible to restraunts.

    Noisy neighborhood because of college students. Late night partyers. Street unattractive due to empty houses.

    Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location of hotel near restaurants, shops and pubs. Hotel room was very well furnished with a good bathroom. Good breakfast

    DVD player unfortunately did not work.

    Very attractive rooms. Well located. Good service and food. Value for money.Queens area good with lots of eating options historic buildings and the botanic gardens nearby. 10 mins walk to city centre.

    The street is a bit run down being a student area otherwise non.

    Tastefully decorated, friendly calm environment. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast.Comfortable bed , bath as well as shower.

    The noise from the street during the late evening - not traffic but people shouting and talking.

    "The staff were very accomodating and helpful, letting us in early to the room when we were jet-lagged and preparing an early breakfast on the day we left. The rooms were clean and updated with plenty of light and windows that opened for fresh air. The B&B was in a good location but some of the properties on the same street were not looked after which detracted from the overall street." (97981444)

    extra touches like cookies and tea and bath products, proximity to places to eat and downtown, excellent breakfasts.

    The garbage on some properties on the same street as B&B made it feel less safe of an area

    "person who took call was most courteous calm informative helpful. rates are excellent. 16.00pm is a very convenient booking -in time. parking is available and secure. breakfast on week-end mornings served until 11.00am----brillant----every other place ive stayed 10.00am has been the latest--- a major bonus for Tara Lodge. located in a very central area,it is very well insulated, from noise of passing traffic,we occupied a room facing onto the street and had window slightly ajar during the nights----did not interfere with sleep. checking-in was hassle free and most pleasant as was checking-out. both stairs andlift are spottlessly clean, ditto for hallways and landings. bedroom---an unexpected pleasure---modern classic,cheerful ,bright, spacious, airy, welcoming, very correct temperature level ---bed, well ,luxurious says it bathroom---must truthfully say, it is the most hygienic and clean that ive ever been in breakfast-----well excellent-------lots of choice, not a sense of being rushed,and of course, fresh fruit salad to die for. each member of the staff is,--- well, lets just say, that headhunting is the word that springs to mind---super super" (97574139)

    it has an aura of welcomeness, a sense of feeling that you are definately in a happy, warm ,comfortable,relaxed place.It is to be very very highly recommended. Super, super. Will most definately return. A MILLION THANKS.

    The room was very well laid out and had an easy to use safe (a rareity in hotels!!) and the bed was one of the comfiest i had ever stayed in. Much better than the hilton where the beds are like rocks.

    Minor thing, perhaps the quilt could have been a little thicker.

    Tutto. Il Tara Lodge è davvero eccellente: pulitissimo, servizi funzionali ed efficienti, personale gentilissimo e competente. Situato vicino al centro di Dublino rimane costantemente immerso nel silenzio e nella pace.

    "we stayed for 3 nights over new year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our room was perfect and breakfast was lovely, the choice was great and the people were very friendly. we,d definately stay there agin if we return to belfast. brilliant value for money!" (97083736)

    "This is a excellent venue to stay, not far from any of the main sites in the city and all in walking range. It has a great selection of eating and drinking venues close by. The only downside is it can get very noisy late at night if you sleep with your window open as no air-conditioning." (99011503)

    Decor was excellent, wide choice of breakfast, freindly staff, overall great accomadation and hope to return at a later date to stay.

    The locals in the area at night can be very noisy.

    It was comfortable, clean and modern.

    Whilst it wasn't far from the centre in a really lively location, near Queen's University, this may not suit everyone and it was a 10 minute walk into town.

    "This hotel is in a student type area with lots of pubs and restaurants around. The hotel is very modern ,and bright. It is only 15 mins casual walk from City Hall and taxis are also very plentiful. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I would reccommend it to anyone." (99002881)

    It was Clean and the beds were very cosy to sleep in

    needed blinds at windows, as you had to close the curtains to dress

    "An excellent medium sized hotel (although fairly expensive compared with a number of similar establishments I have used in the UK in the recent past) which is a comfortable 10-15 minute walk from the main bus station. Very well furnished and maintained rooms, and nice breakfasts. But be warned that it is very close to Botanic railway station and some of the passing trains emit very loud noises." (97250470)

    "Although the hotel only serves breakfast there are more than enough places to eat locally and the staff were happy to recommend a number of them including Benedicts, Villa Italia and Lee Garden which we ate at and would recommend. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The breakfast menu has a good selection of hot and cold choices to suit all tastes."     not enough air circulating in the room at night so we opened the window and so could hear the loud, noisy youths coming home from a night out
