    "Overall enjoyed the stay (even though we were there for a funeral!) & liked the fact that most of the staff were friendly & efficient. The pleasure was diluted by the restaurant problem but that would not stop us using the hotel again." (108876131)

    Nice to get a welcoming email from the hotel, asking our expected arrival time & whether we wanted to book a table for dinner. Friendliness & good humour of the staff. Excellent breakfasts & good evening meal.

    No real ale (but I can understand why!). Restaurant was closed on the second evening, despite notices in Reception asking guests to reserve a table - so we had to leave the hotel (on a very wet & windswept evening!!) to find somewhere else to eat. Good PR from the hotel owner the following morning in relation to this problem though! There seemed to be some problem with the heating in the room, but it was quickly sorted (twice!).

    Food was excellent. Staff all very friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

    Decoration, carpets etc on the stair area was very tired.

    Excellent staff, was made to feel very welcome, staff will go out of way to ensure you have a plesent stay. Good location beach / town center. Hotel up to date with internet / decoration.

    "Adequate but nothing special. I would like to try others of the many hotels in a similar location to see how they compare. I stayed at a hotel in Conwy (The Castle), admittedly no sea view, but at a similar price (offering porridge and kippers for breakfast!), which was much nicer." (107219822)

    Seagull mess on window giving a very poor impression on entering the room, surprisingly small en-suite shower room, somewhat unfriendly hotel handbook, limited breakfast selection (no porridge or kippers!)

    Clean and tidy hotel and the Staff were very helpful.

    No Lift and a room on the 3rd floor. No Shower in bathroom only a bath.

    The room has recently been refurbished and was very pleasant.

    The breakfast was not very good, the eggs were rock hard and sausage burnt.

    Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the hotel was comfortable, clean and rooms had stylish contemporary decor.

    The shower was a little temperamental due to building works in the hotel but not a major issue.

    Newly renovated room, very nice. Bilingual signage and menus a big plus, as well as Welsh-speaking and helpful staff.
