    Parking at the back of the hotel

    tiny room, main light not working, rear fire doors left propped open and used as main access so anyone could walk in from outside, music in the bar very loud until about midnight

    Excellent location in the centre of the town. Small but adequate car park. The room was spacious and clean.

    Staff very friendly

    On arrival was given a room which was already occupied. MOved to a double room for the first night which was Ok. 2nd and subsequent nights were in a single room on the first floor at the rear of the hotel, and this room was very noisy due to it being above an air-conditioning unit which was running 24 hours a day.

    bar staff really friendly and helpful nice bar

    it was a bit like staying at the crooked house, but its old so it didnt bother us but breakfast was a bit poor,nothing to say how the system works, if at all there was one,it wasnt very warm. but we had a meal there one evening and it was very nice,too much noise with drunks and traffic,wouldnt go when the uni is open as it would be packed with students

    The staff did reduce the price the next morning bacause of the music.

    Loud music playing in the hotel bar from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. The bed vibrated and, despite several complaints, they did not stop. Towels and bath tub were dirty.

    I have no complaints about Harry's Hotel/bar/bistro the hotel staff were wonderful--food beer and entertainment were brilliant!!!!!

    "It was a decent price for what you got but we will not be returning as the location was rather boring. The night life is very bland and you will have to book in advanced if you wish to eat anywhere inc the hotel bar. The maze like corridors and crooked rooms also made it feel like an MC Escher drawing so be very cautious of drinking and returning to your room! " (107537335)

    - Friendly staff - nice food - breakfast inc in the price - close to the beach all be it a pebble beach - safe parking at the rear

    - there was food all over the back of the TV remote control - the rooms are very strange, it's very crooked and you feel drunk walking around - one of the windows wouldn't close due to the crooked frame - the noise outside from the road was a bit too loud - drinks at the hotel bar are highly priced

    Hotel & room far too hot - had to leave windows open in both rooms resulting in very noisy nights. Very poor for guests with limited mobility - steep stairs and long walk to rooms

    well kept room clean tidy great shower toilet , bar staff very helpful catering very well done the downstairs bar bistro was great with a live band which we enjoyed

    toilet cistern in room was not working properly having reported to the on duty i was promised it would of been fixed but it is not a very pleasent experience when the toilet flushing system in the toilet is blocked we had to use other toilets in the vicinity

    Hotel was clean and a great location. Breakfast was very good and all staff we found were most helpful. We would definitely stay at Harry's again and would recommend it too. Great value for money. Enjoyed the live entertainment on the Saturday night too.

    Only bad point was the parking. We parked at the back of the building which was a tight squeeze and a little uncertain about security.

    staff very pleasant. Very good location to work and facilities.

    Room heating very hot and not adjustable. Very noisy from street and bar below. External lights very intrusive even with curtains pulled. Did not get much sleep.

    "The hotel was in a nice central location. Only a short distance from the sea front and all shops. There was a problem with the heating in our room but as soon as we reported it, the manager moved us to another room without fuss. It was not a problem and was done very promptly.     "Only one issue - we didn't understand the different prices of breakfast! As we didn't know what breakfast was included in the room price that we had agreed, we didnt know what breakfast to get....the waitress didnt explain so we just ordered the basics.     Very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff, the hotel was well situated for the town.

    Car parking was not as expected and very limited, had to park on a nearby street which involved moving at certain times.

    Straight forward,clean,neat hotel with helpful staff especially the young lady who served Sunday breakfast.

    Lasagne was very dry bordering on burnt on the Saturady afternoon.

    VERY WARM ROOM, AND NICE VIEW OF MAIN STREET, BRILLIANT SHOWER.

    TOP OF WARDROPE AND THE SHELVE AROUND WINDOW COULD HAVE DONE WITH A CLEAN.

    We liked the traditional feel of the hotel, and its very convenient central location.

    The bed was a little uncomfortable.
