    Place looks dirty the moment you use the stairs. The shower in my room was difficult to use without hurting myself to make it work and several calls to reception. Fell on wet flooring and had to fill my own accident info in despite being a little shocked by my fall. Bed was very squeaky and woke me everytime I turned in my little sleep that I did manage to get.

    Good position in city centre

    Tired building. Carpet coarse enough to give splinters in the feet. Curtains looked like dogs bedding. Clean linen dumped outside each door in the morning very bad, don't you have linen trolleys? Staff not in uniforms or overalls, therefore no protection when cleaning or handling food. I am sure health and safety would be thrilled!

    Excellent location adjacent to conference centre, restaurants and good shops. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast choice. Clean & tidy. On-site parking a great advantage (although limited).

    A nuisance not to be able to obtain cold water from the bathroom tap - had to go to the water chiller by the lift! Couldn't connect our (almost new) laptop to the Internet. Would have liked to be able to get some fresh air in the room - no opening windows.

    Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice clean room.

    Room not ready when arrived at 14.00 but nevertheless we were able to leave our luggae in a secure room, so it wasn't that bad.

    breakfast was good

    The walls of the rooms are very thin and I could hear next door snoring all night. The sink in the bathroom was dirty and nasty. There were not enough towels, the carpark is not big enough and it is inconvient having to move car away from hotel. Most of the night people were running up and down corridor and slaming doors, I am impressed next door managed to snore through it!

    Staff very happy to help. Location. LARGE comfortable bed. Large room.

    Too Pink ! Heater in room did not work - but no problem as was not needed. Slight issue about on line booking - I thought I had paid but apparently my details were needed, not sure why. I actually had to pay on arrival.

    television screen is too little, difficult to watch tv when laying on bed, no electric sockets near the bed

    Good value for money.

    Toilet didn't flush properly. Construction work going on nearby ( a lot of noise 3 am!). Breakfast not brilliant but ok.

    Very clean room, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and i really like the decor.

    the walls are quite thin and i could hear conversations (and snoring)quite clearly from next door.

    "It was quite fun apart from the lack of sleep (the main reason to stay in a hotel I suppose!)We had an early breakfast and found ourselves in the pink and flowery dining room in the company of the many building workers staying there which was interestingly incongruous.     Central position. Excellent value. Most pleasant staff.

    We booked 2 twin rooms, which turned out to be a "family" room, with a large double, and a very uncomfortable sofa bed. Also no running cold water... there was a fountain in the lift area, but on our floor it was not working, so we had to go up a floor for a drink of water! Also, there is poor soundproofing and there was a teenage gruop partying until 2.30am. The downside of low prices!

    Central Cardiff, thus a good location. Basic, but clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Overall fair value for money.

    Car parking is a problem. You cannot use most of the adjacent car park because the company that owns a big chunk of it gets you clamped! The Hotel owns just a few spaces. We were completely blocked in by the hotel staff, who must have to go through the moving process everyday. Eventually two staff who were on duty came and moved a little so we could squeeze out. (You pay £6 for this by the way!). The rooms are basic, don't go expecting luxury.

    "Good but not as good a bargain as implied in the computer presentation. It could have been cheaper : some brochure at the hotel mentioned rooms at £ 45, I paid £ 60 and it was supposed to be half the normal price!" (107988031)

    Very clean, pleasant large rooms with good views, near the station and the centre

    poor breakfast, rooms available only from 15.00 to 10.30, not as good as expected from the 4 star computer presentation

    comfortable beds, excellent bathroom facility, magic breakfast! Convenient central location.

    room too warm!! no windows to open! difficult to get COLD water.
