    "The hotel does not really stand out, neither in a positive nor negative way. " (108273219)

    Good location of the hotel, relatively near about everything interesting (except for the Rijksmuseum). We got a quiet room as requested, even though the hotel is in the middle of the city centre. This is where the more modern building stands out over the older hotels. The airco was relatively silent (and necessary on this occasion).

    Actually, none. The staff are really business-like, without too much enthousiasm (still, we only met briefly for check-in and chech-out). The hotel could be a bit cheaper, but one should know this is Amsterdam. Check the special offers!

    "We were not all all happy, either with the size of the room. The fact that we could not get access to the Internet straight away. Te fact that our morning paper went missing, and we had to ask twice for another one. Not one of our better bookings, and we have stayed all over the world. POOR VALUE" (107920289)

    Hotel was very central

    Service was not good. The room was described as an executive room, but was really only a double. It had no desk or sofa - only a large double bed. Very small wardrobe and no drawers. Totally inadequate for an executive room, and does not compare at all favouably with the last hotel we stayed in for the same price. I also had problems with "free" internet and no help. Eventually resolved

    Overall very good hotel, in an excellent location in the heart of Amsterdam. I got a reasonable rate because of the time of year. Staff were helpful, and the room was of a good standard.

    hotel très bien situé juste à coté de la gare et du centre ville, chambre moderne joliment décorée, calme, literie très confortable, sde b avec robinetterie très fonctionnelle et agréable

    Personnel à la réception pas très aimable, ne faisant aucun effort pour se faire comprendre, chambre et surtout salle de bain trop petites, prix trop élevé(178€ la nuit sans le petit déjeuner)

    Very good spacious rooms with a proper minibar (drinks are reasonably priced). Nice selection of TV channels.

    No room service to order breakfast and dinner from. A bit noisy if your windows face the street - people staying up late.

    Most things were very good or excellent

    No restaurant facilities was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Especially disappointing after 7 hour train journey and no facilities to have a meal on site.

    "Hotel was very clean, rooms were cleaned every day. It is very close to Central Station and Dam Square but also set on a quiet street so at night there was no disturbance. Any requirements were dealt with by staff immediately." (99396386)

    "We didn't bother eating in the hotel. There are many other places nearby to eat, drink or take away. The hotel bar is nice although didn't appear to open during the day. If you arrive by central station you can walk to the hotel in 10 minutes. A taxi from the airport is quite expensive. About 45 euros each way." (97185155)
