    Room 65 was a pleasant room to stay in.

    My first room 12 had a faulty shower. It took me 30minutes to takea shower. The room light wasn't very bright. Lack of a bedside light meant I couldn't read over the days case notes that I had written. I informed the staff about the shower they advised me that I would have a room change. I was given the keycard for room 35, again the room was very dull, no bedside light and the behadn't been changed. When I complained at the desk the clerk apologised and gave me the keycard to room 65. This was a family and I feel I was given this room for the trouble I went through. At 6.35AM on Friday morning the desk phoned me to move my car, he asked me to hurry up. The person who wanted me to move my car must have known he was leaving early in the morning and should not have parked where he did. The televisions need retuned in both rooms.

    Location to kosher food

    I would hardly call it a hotel. More of room and board! Running water was turned off. Room advertised as a family room was essentially one room with 2 beds or one room with 4 single beds. The room door was left open. The passages to the room were too narrow to maneuvre luggage. The place is a dive.

    The staff were very pleasant and helpfull. i would like to thank the staff for their hospitality

    I did not have any the only thing is that I paid for the continental breakfast but you dont serve this till 7.30am and i had to leave at 7.15am. I would suggest that if anyone has to leave earlier some sort of food should be supplied even if it is just some muffins.

    "The staff was very rude and un helpful. We were asked to move out of the room whilst they fixed the toilet door. we were moved to a room below before it had been cleaned . there was not a clean place to put our belongings and the staff were not prepared to clean it to accomodate us. we ended up wasting a whole day before eventually giving up and checking out."     the hotel was run down we have seen better furniture in a skip! the room was dirty and I got locked in the toilet for an hour before the staff had to break down the door and let me out.

    Staff were very nice and place was convenient for us, it was walking distance to Hyppodrome were we were having conference. We had clean sheets and clean towels

    toilet sink was bloked, we had cold boiled eggs and no toast for breakfast. bath water and shower water was not warm enough.

    "I was looking for value accommodations and I guess i got them. London is supposed to be very expensive. I felt like I paid a lot to be in a hotel for poor people. If I'm looking for value accommodations next time, I'll shop around a bit more." (108349929)

    The staff was helpful and responded with alacrity when I had a problem. There was always someone at the desk so help was always available. Breakfast was generous. The sheets and towels were clean, and the water was hot and with good pressure.

    The shower drained poorly, so a long shower would mean an inconvenience for the person below. The shower nozzle was poorly mounted, but this was quickly fixed. Free WiFi in the rooms was advertised, but never available. I could use wifi in the small uncomfortable lobby or in the restaurant which wasn't open Saturdays or late at night. Many times the wifi was completely non operative, and the staff regretted that they couldn't get into the office and turn it on. Only certain people had the key. Though the facility was billed as nonsmoking, my room reeked of smoke, I believe from just below where the kitchen workers took their breaks. And the room was very small.

    "The first thing that you notice about this hotel is the plastic and silk flowers hanging from the window boxes and hanging baskets, it was a health & safety nightmare, especially the dark and narrow corridors leading from the reception area to the bedrooms, with the dark blue carpet and numerous steps, i lost count the amount of times i tripped up. The appearance/decor and general facilities of the hotel was dated and dirty, and in need of major refurbishment. The bedroom was basic in the least, there was no socket by the mirror for the hairdryer, there were no side lights for the bed only the main light socket hanging from the ceiling which had no lampshade, the bath panel was cracked. Breakfast was disorganised with a poor choice on offer, advertised as a buffet breakfast, but don't be fooled into thinking this will be the traditional buffet style breakfast which you would normally find in most 3* rated hotels ie: A traditional english breakfast, there was a choice of cereal, toast, egg mayonaise, tuna & sweetcorn and salad, tea was a cup with hot water and a tea bag. Luckily we were only staying 1 night and will not be returning." (108731246)

    "Good - problems with toilets can happen anywhere especially if the guest before has flushed unsuitable things down. It was a pity somebody did not look at the toilet as soon as I reported the matter as I was out for the whole evening." (108582919)

    Food was good and staff were friendly. Everything was clean.

    Toilet would not flush and I did report it but it was not looked at 'til after I checked out. I had to throw kettles of water down the toilet to flush it.

    Receptionist was very helpful.

    There was no hot water in the shower-room. The TV did not work. The serface level in bed-room 26 is uneven without any warning. The hotel was probably last painted in in the 60's.

    The room was very spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly. Having free internet access was a huge bonus as I'm self-employed and still needed to get work done whilst I was in London.

    Breakfast was a bit disappointing as other than scrambled egg and toast everything else was cold and I have good allergies which include egg, diary and tomato. I had a very busy, long 2 days in London and could really have done with a nice hot breakfast and if I had known that I couldn't get a traditional cooked breakfast I would have stayed somewhere else. On the second day of my visit I had breakfast in London which was a bit annoying as I'd already paid for a room which included breakfast.

    Honestly, I did not see any sign of good service

    The room was too small with a very unusall shape. I had to watch my head as ceiling was too low. I hit my head several times. There was no fridge in the room. I could not adjust the heating and the room was too hot. i opened the window and again it was too cold. there were some insects in the room and i was bitten frequently over night. there was no sheet with duvet and the same duvet was used for every body. this really causes a lot of diseases.

    "The pleasant attitude of the staff and general cleanliness was good... yes I probably would stay again but would look for a better room at least one where entering the shower did not mean squeezing between the shower door toilet and wall." (107564115)

    Easy enough to get to, despite looking out of the city, very pleasant and helpful staff who responded quickly when requested to the need to unblock a very smelly sink. Clean linen and towels (rather worn but servicable) and available meals in the hotel.

    Ensuite room but the ensuite was extremely small, a large person would ahve difficulty and even using the toilet was difficult with the door shut...fine as I was one person but it is a double room. The sink was extremeley smelly and when used proved to be totally blocked. Paint peeling on some walls. shower tiles cracked, an old heater that worked but had no controls and was badly listing on its feet. Had the feel of run down student accommodation BUT was clean! Not able to close the curtains in the room, although to be fair there were nets and a plant hiding the view, but no curtains to close in the tiny shower room which was in full view of the flat accross the road... interesting! Also had very very noisy people up and down stairs through 4 am on the second night... not the Hotels fault but not pleasant either.

    Hotel correct. l'acceuil est bon. pour une nuit ou un week end c'est pas mal du tout. Bon rapport qualité / prix.

    Pas vraiment de points négatifs sinon le jus d'orange du petit déjeuner. Sinon le buffet petit déjeuner est plus anglais qu'internationnal.

    The hotel was situated on a busy main road and our room was located at the front of the road so we were disurbed by noise from traffic all night. This was not explained on the website. We were also disturbed from guests coming back to their rooms throughout the night. Ar around 3am someone tried the door to our room. We were not provided with any electical appliances (ie hairdryer) or mirror in our main room and was also did not have a mirror in our main room.

    The hotel did it's job. breakfast was ok- a bit basic. staff where very nice and helpful when asked.

    security in the hotel was poor, didn't feel safe leaving our stuff in the hotel as the safe didn't work and people could walk right into the hallway without reception knowing!! they also say that wireless is avaiable in every room, it wasn't in ours! the cleaners put your new towels in a pile on the floor outside on the dirty tiles when cleaning your room...gross!

    Good location.

    Very noisy room as door did not fit properly and noise from adjoining rooms and corridor. Scrambled eggs at breakfast were cold. Sink in bad condition- plug missing and tap broken.

    "The hotel was based in a Jewish area of London which didn't really matter to us but isn't mentioned on the website, also it was passover so the restaurant and bar was shut and again no mention of that when we booked, only when we arrived. This would have made a difference when deciding where to our stay especially as breakfast was salad, not even any orange juice. The shower room was so cramped you could hardly move and the water was scolding hot with no temperature gage, even the cold water was scolding hot. When this was mentioned to the hotel our reply was well nobody else has complained. Overall, very dissappointed with our stay as a lot of it could have been avoided if previously mentioned."
