    "I was a little dissapointed by the room. It was small and in need of upgrading. The evening meal was very good, however the breakfast was not at the same standard.However the hotel was reasonably priced." (108777893)

    Good breakfast. Room always clean. Staff very pleasant.

    Room small. Poor TV reception. Shower cubicle kept coming loose.

    "very nice place to stay the owner was on duty with his staff this was nice to see, a well run family hotel and a place to be proud off. I will make a bee line for this hotel evry time i am in the area. and i have recomended this hotel to other folk. great place " (107793012)

    very clean rooms, good food (breakfast) nice selection of drinks at the bar,very frendly staff.

    no hot water this was put right when pointed out but needs to turn up the boiler a inch or to still

    the hotel is well located to the town centre (only a short walk), beds are very comfortable and you can't beat there shower

    It's a small, friendly hotel which we like. Very convenient for our visit, easy to find from the motorway and central for the town of Wellington. The accommodation was very comfortable and the staff helpful.

    We only stayed for one night so difficult to find anything to dislike.

    "Good, personal service, very helpful. |Lovely bright, light conservatory. Good pressure on shower and clean bathroom. the hotel is a product of its time, older furnishings, poor sound proofing, fairly basic .........it did the job which was providing an inexpensive B&B for a night."     The service, very friendly, helpful. Reading and relaxing in the conservatory.

    Very noisy road outside and poor sound proofing indoors so every sound could be heard from corridors and nearby rooms.

    Tasty breakfast!

    Simple things like there was no remote for the TV. I couldn't find spare power sockets, so to boil the kettle you had to unplug the TV, and unplug the desk lamp to plug in my laptop.

    - beds could be larger (longer), even at my average build (1m80/6ft tall) it was cramped - sound insulation (from road noise) could be improved - an internet connection would be nice

    "The hotel was very easy to find. The staff were very nice showed us our room and left us to it without any hassle. The room was clean and tidy with a nice warm shower and the room wasn't too hot which I sometimes find in hotels. Breakfast the next morning was excellent. The parking was spacious too with lovely Gardens surrounding the hotel." (2905655)

    "I've stayed in this hotel under previous ownership. The new management are keen to satisfy their customers and are kind and helpful. Parking is excellent and when asked information was promptly supplied. Due to roadworks I was held up and my arrival delayed. This presented no problem to the duty manager and I was met by every consieration. I use several hotels on my business circuits but the Grove excelled in client care." (2816395)

    Clean, comfortable and private. Very restful. Staff very keen to please.

    In room info eg what channels were on tv,and how to work shower, however these were not hindrances and did not detract from the care and comfort of the overall ambience.

    "The hotel is run by two brothers and the general ambience is quiet and dignified without being pretentious. The dining room particularly is Georgian and it has been modernised in a sympathetic manner. I think the only slight point to make is that guests arriving early e.g. I arrived at 12:00 noon, might not have eaten, and the owners wasted no time in arranging a light meal for me, which was excellent. However, if the chef comes on say at 1:00 pm or whenever, guests need to be aware of that fact beforehand in order to make the necessary arrangements." (2495472)

    cooked breakfast was a little sparse ,when we arrived we were not told what time breakfast was served or where the dining room was ,also the morning we checked out when we returned to our room after breakfast the water had been turned off it would have been nice to be warned
