    Very efficient and polite staff; very clean and well appointed; pleasing room; ample breakfast.

    Thought £99 per night was a little expensive, though it may be the going rate for city hotels - I don't stay in them very often.

    "I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this part of Manchester. The centre is easy to get to by bus as it is on a main arterial route but not easy walking distance." (107559683)

    Quality of attention shown by the staff was excellent. Dog friendly hotel. Secure parking at very reasonable rate. Quality and standard of the hotel exceeded the 3 AA star rating in my opinion. Very handy for Christies Hospital which was the reason for stay.

    Nicely furnished room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast choice good. Dinner in restaurant good.

    Staff did not recognise the inclusive drinks on my booking, finally got the check-in girl to agree but on check-out,different staff and had to go through it all again. It was embarassing but a matter or principal for me.Stairs everywhere.No mention on the Web-Site of the 2.50 charge if you want to park in the "secure car-park", had no choice as there is very limited space in the free parking area. Had to go back to the desk to ask for my "free WiFi code, which l think should be offered when you check in.

    There should be a detachable shower in the bath, but this is a minor quibble.

    Good breakfast, good location, friendly receptionists, internet access, double room was good value but very small.

    Cost of single room was almost as much as the double and was not such good value. The double bedroom was small.

    Staff were helpful and apologetic when first room turned out not to have been serviced. I was upgraded from awful 'internet rate' room.

    'Internet rate' room was unacceptable standard. Mattress in upgraded room was wet - no one had noticed or knew why. Breakfast was very busy and staff were tetchy. There was not enough hot food available and pastries ran out early on.

    Excellent staff. Very helpful and friendly. I left an expensive electric toothbrush at your hotel the week before and the lady on the front deck hounded housekeeping until they found it! Thank you.

    The food was disappointing. I had steak twice, both were tuff, salad was not fresh.

    Creaking floors in newer extension of hotel. Could hear people walking on floor above. Not much soundproofing between floors.
