    Ik heb een klacht ingediend mbt hygiëne aan de balie, maar heb daarna niets meer gehoord. Omgaan met klachten, betekent uw klant informeren, excuses etc..

    Hotel was immaculate check-in/out staff pleasant and helpful.

    My reservation was for an executive double but it was quite obvious we were in a standard double we were in a rush so didn't have time to go to reception and complain.I know i paid the pre booked rate but that is not the point i booked an executive double i expected to get one i booked it over six months ago! Checked in at 2.00pm as we told that was when we could check in by but was then told that we would have to wait half and hour before we could get into the room as that florr was still being services. Room was very hot so had to sleep or should i say try to sleep with the window open so had all the noise from the street.

    "I paid £58 for the night (bed ony) and wouldn't have wanted to pay any more. the prices in reception suggested my room was a hundred and something pounds, which would be poor value for money." (107836581)

    Good size room Decent size Bathroom

    No air conditioning and Windows were full width of room and 6ft high and tilted upwards towards sun, so very very hot. Only ventlation were louvered sectinto oe side. Fan provided but noteffective. Hd to pin door open t creae airflow Decor is showing is age Bed only just ok Furnishings marked / stained

    Nice old,fashioned style combined with modern bar facilities in the two public bars. Room was quiet as requested and light

    The room was a little small and the furniture did not match. Quite cluttered really

    The hotel is in the middle of all amenities, pubs, clubs and is a 10 minute work from the train station. Staff are very friendly. I have used this hotel twice. The room was very clean, had an hairdryer which was in working order.

    The only bad point is that the room did not have a window but a skylight, we must have been in the gods! but it still made the room light and airy though!.

    "Was a brilliant hotel in a brillint location for the gay village and also main shopping area of the city. Both were within 2 minutes of the front door of the hotel. This hotel helped to make our holiday brilliant. Thank you." (107739809)

    Excellent staff in the hotel. The public areas of the hotel were absolutely outstanding and they blew us away. Bedrooms were less breathtaking but were fine. Clean with a very comfy bed. Everything you could need. Will DEFINITELY stay here again.

    "On entering the hotel I felt like I was queing for a "bed for the night" at a homeless hostel. There were people drinking beer in the lobby, smoking outside, and a group of girls wearing curlers and drinking in the queue! The carpet was dirty and the whole reception area unkempt. I was very pleasantly surprised that our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel however, probably due to the clientelle. Enjoyed our stay as we had been upgraded.     Room small for price Waiting for somebody to release case from locked up room - rubbish! Waited 25 minutes. Only one receptionist (with big queue) no porter AT ALL.

    Convenient

    I upgraded to an executive double. There wasn't enough room to swing a cat and if there had been two of us, one of us would have had to clamber over the other one to get in to bed.

    Location

    Very noisy, even though we were in a room at the back of the hotel. Rooms very stuffy - no airconditioning, if there was it wasn't working. Couldn't open the window at night due to noise. Rooms also look very shabby and could do with a makeover.

    Check-in, breakfast and maid service excellent and efficient. People were first class !!

    Windows not sound-proofed - so difficult to sleep during Police nighttime activities. Not sure a building of that age can be adapted so understandable. Bathroom facilities below average - toiletries supplied were poor and not eco-friendly - a refillable shampoo bottle could have been a better option. Shower spray did a good job on the ceiling - but not sufficiently poor to warrant a complaint. In-room tea facilities OK - would have liked more tea bags - but provided my own so no worries.

    The hotel itself is architecturally splendid, especially the wonderful staircase. Good in house faclities (bar and restaurant). Friendly and hepful staff. Very convenient location.

    Very few: exterior noise at night (not the fault of the hotel); and the furniture in the room a little scruffy.

    "Would book again, but would not use any of the so called 'upgrade' room types unless I was going the whole hog to suite. Executive double was an executive ripoff. Staff were helpful and courteous, friendly too. A little discouraged at trying to charge guests who were staying in the hotel a service premium for the in hotel restaurant due to it being valentines. If we are paying to be in the hotel, I would expect normal service to be assumed. As it was this caused us only to take our money elsewhere to eat, and get better value for money (and doubtless quality) than 'Jennys' would have offered" (107498796)

    nice surroundings, lovely building, clean room

    being sold as an 'executive double' and having a couple of chairs and a trouser press for an extra 30 odd quid seemed a bit of a rip off, especially when it seemed to indicate suite. I expected a little more for my money.

    having to pay for 2 nights after unfortunate circumstances stopped us from getting there on the first night.i thought some arrangement inbetween should have been agreed,we were then not given the room we booked,room had no windows and the tv didnt work properly very disappointed

    "I very much enjoyed my stay and would highly reccommend this hotel. The rooms are excellent value for money and the location is brillaint, just 5 minutes from Picadilly station and all of the city centre shops and restaurants." (107118879)

    The room was spacious and clean with a well stocked hospitality tray. Good choice of TV channels and nice clean bathroom. The breakfast choice was varied and they offered a vegetarian option on the hot buffet which was a nice bonus.

    The hotel could be a little bit noisy at night due to its city centre location, quite a bit of noise from the pubs and clubs in the area.
