    Location was good as we were going to a festival in Hyde Park. This was he reason we booked this hotel.

    Room was ok, quite small especially the bed. The carpet was all fraying and was coming up.

    The continental breakfast was good. The food in general was very good. The staff was very friendly and remembered our names.

    Room was small. Hallway was very warm. Kettle didn't work.

    Hotel was clean; staff was courteous; convenient to public transportation and located in a good area close to shopping; housekeeping staff were discreet and replensished supplies on an as needed basis. Checking in and checking out was quick and easy.

    The hotel room at times was noisy due to outdoor traffic and the first two days of our stay there was considerable noise on the 2nd floor. Concierge had limited information.

    Room had great beds, pillows, very clean with white duvet covers. Room not real large but nice size, had safe in closet, and bathroom shower was great, good hot water, staff very polite, and location was great for shopping and the tube.

    Bed linen was clean. Concierge staff very pleasant and helpful. Very convenient for shopping at Harrods & Harvey Nichols etc.

    Was given a smoking room although non smoking was booked. Room lighting very poor. Mattress far too soft - if like us you have a slight back problem the bed will only make it worse.

    Excellent location- near tube- room well air conditioned- comfy beds- hotel quiet no disturbance on the night

    Reception desk staff we feel could have been more welcoming /polite Rooms plus bathrooms a little on the small size Breakfast vastly over priced

    poor approach to customer complaints (family complainedd regarding a meal which was called into question - I expect the customer to be correct in such an establishment. Very pokey room, very smelly - little information on ammenities on site (restaurant, bar, lounge and others facilities/details were not available to be reviewed in the room - i.e. had no idea what the Hotel could offer onsite)

    The mini-bar had items there had already been opened, the maid did not realise that and did not replace the items.

    Superb location,very close to Harrods and other shopping destinations.Safe,clean,easy to find.It's very easy to reach main locations by Public transportation.Very comfortable beds.

    "We have stayed at hotel for about five years as over night guests before returning to Toronto. We love London & can't seem to get enough. We find the location of hotel very convenient for shopping & exploring. A few years ago stayed for weekend with family who flew in from Toronto for a surprise bithday.     "Small and very tired rooms, with old fasined fittings and stained furnishings, however the general cleanliness of bathroom, carpets etc . . was actually very good. Location is excellent." (3304285785)

    The hotel is in a great location on Sloane Street a short walk from Harrods and Kings Road. It also very convenient for the tube.

    I asked for a no-smoking room and was put in a smoking room. The Curtains were falling off the curtain rails and were very badly stained.

    "The hotel was OK, and good value for the centre of London. Great location. The room was small, and cold, but the decor was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom small and looking a little tired, but clean. Bath water was not hot enough. Lift service was down to only one working, so a long wait every time. Staff were friendly and welcoming.     "For anyone wanting a great location to the subways, a couple blocks from Harrods to Gucci next door, this would be your hotel of choice. The concierge department was top-notch in setting us up with the best tour lines to take, to the hidden best pub we could walk to. We would suggest this hotel to anyone, and will forsure stay here again when we get back to London." (2496245)

    "Enjoyed our stay, nice coffe lounge/bar for pre-dinner drinks and good bar area for night-cap, although quite expensive. Room was nice and clean and bright with a fabulous view from 11th floor. Was a little disappointed by the smell of stale cigarettes but as we had not specifically requested a non-smoking room this was not the hotel's fault. Made most welcome at check-in." (2228599)

    Generally very good, excellent location, easy to get to by train. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was tiny but clean and smart

    Breakfast was very poor standard, small buffet or choice of hot food, but very small portions and at £18 per person, expected more than half a tomato and a small heap of the most disgusting scrambled egg! Heavy doors in other rooms meant that we were woken up by loud bangs every ten minutes from 7.45 on, which was not too pleasant.
