    keurig hotel, alles wat er minimaal moet zijn was aanwezig, netjes en schoon

    Het ontbijt moet in het bijbehorende restaurant worden genuttigd, dit was buitengewoon slecht geregeld. Geen buffet, je moest bestellen en dat duurde bijna een uur. Het continentale ontbijt dat wij hadden was heel slecht van kwaliteit. De bediening was slomer dan sloom. En dan og 6 1/2 pond per persoon apart afrekenen. Een reden om n

    Professional service. The fridge and kettle were very convenient. The candies at the reception were great for the kid.

    The view from the hotel is not very nice.

    Clean rooms, good size

    Shower / water power, hardly water came out, staying at room 601 I thonk you need to re adjust the Hydrophore (putting extra power on the waterpipe line)

    Friendly staff, comfortable room. Attractive lounge bar, although a shame no English beer available. Very convenient for tube station. Restaurant appears interesting although I did not use it.

    Room too hot, though I did not notice air conditioning control until too late. Noisy outside early morning - bin collection? Breakfast expensive (even with discount) and not very special.

    Good sleeping place with descent TV programs - missing CNN though.

    Difficult to find since directed to Aldgate station although asking for Aldgate East stn! Did not know there were two stations, thus instructions received made no sense when starting from the wrong starting point! Took me 45 minutes to get right!

    My requested twin-bed room actually had 3 beds so there was plenty of space. Every thing was very clean: comfortable beds, nice extra pillows and spotless towels. Best thing of all for me: they have their own secure car park.

    Big mix-up at reception initially, as my companion had erroneously been registered as the principal guest even though I myself made the booking: took quite a bit of sorting out, and remained an inexplicable error. Afterwards, though, the gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful.

    Hotel being upgraded, the builders are in! No problems, very hot water, lovely clean sheet, beds made daily, full sized fridge, good air-con, fluffy towels, toiletries, nothing to complain about.

    Couldn't get served in bar, gave up and went elsewhere.

    Staff were fantatsic. Great location for Aldgate East Tube station.

    Bar closing at 11pm, should have been open later. Bit noisey outside front of the hotel.

    "Prior to stay a bit dubious about location. Need not have worried. It is an East End Hotel but there are no downsides to this. Good bus routes into Liverpool Street or the West End " (107461904)

    Good sized room with all basic amenities and clean. Well sited for West End shows which was the purpose of our visit. Very pleasant and efficient front desk staff. Super value at £75 for double room but would I pay full price, £160? As a pensioner, probably not.

    There were no bad points for our stay. Breakfast at £9.95 becomes good value for the really hungry but a bit high, perhaps, for just a bowl of cereal and tea. Could improve range by offering bowls of soft fruits.

    Hotel side very helpful and room was good value.

    Bar food cancelled as had to wait from 1816 to 1850 before I reminding them and they had no idea when it would be ready. Bar staff gave refund without quibble however.

    Location of hotel very centeral to my needs.staff friendly and efficient

    I had booked a room for 4 adults , however there were only sufficient towels in room for two. The curtains in the room did not work to close and they had cigareets burns on them. When booking hotel on line I could not find where to request smoking/non smoking room

    In generale un buon albergo con camere ben arredate e confortevoli. Personale discreto e disponibile.

    Mi sarei aspettato che almeno la "continental breakfast" fosse compresa nel prezzo e trovo che il costo extra di 9.0 £ sia totalmente irragionevole.

    "I've spent a real good night at The City Hotel. It's situated im a quiet area, in front of the modern buildings of London, but also it's very close to the main tube stations as Liverlpool Street. I've found a good balance between price an quality. The room was cleaned and well serviced, without be too expensive. This Hotel has got good construction, with private bar, well provided breakfast room.     Large Rooms, Nice friendly, efficient and helpful staff, Good breakfast, Excellent location. Room relocation after the first night was not a problem and performed whilst I was away for the day.

    1st room was overlooking the cobbled street and I could hear every vehicle as it passed under the window. But the worst part was the lack of curtains, which let the light from the Bright arc lamps in the street (pointing directly at the hotel) straight into my room. I could read my book in bed with the lights off.

    "Had a great stay at this hotel. Staff very helpful and room was very nice. Very handy (3-5 minute walk) to Aldgate East tube station and central London. Situated right at the top of Brick Lane.     Excellent location, handy to train station, plenty of restaurants etc near by. Staff very helpful.

    chambre très spacieuse et agréable.

    Les amis qui étaient avec nous ont très mal dormi durant la nuit de vendredi à samedi car leur chambre donnaient sur la rue et le bruit était fort important. D'autre part il y avait un bruit constant comme une goutte d'eau tombant toutes les deux ou trois secondes, que vous devriez pouvoir résoudre.

    Staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast was very good.

    Air conditioning in room was not working. There was a "water dripping" noise in the room, and some general noise that disturbed my sleep. Some of the renovations made the room look a little untidy.

    One of the beds were dirty, slept in and stained. We complained, and received clean sheets but had to make the bed ourselves. We were staying from Thursday evening until Monday, and the Internet connection only worked on Thursday. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain properly (very slowly). However, we did not draw attention to this as we had complained about several things already, and felt that the staff were a bit tired of us.

    The staff were extremely helpful and thoroughly professional, the hotel was clean and well presented.

    Car parking costs were expensive, paying guests should not have to pay for parking. A detailed map would have helped in finding the hotel.
