    "Lack of hot water in the morning and being told by reception that it often takes 15 minutes to get hot water in the room (we left the tap running for more than 15 minutes - no hot water) isn't great." (107600281)

    Reception staff were friendly

    No hot water in the morning. Were told the manager would contact to discuss this however he never did.

    Booking on the internet was easy.

    The hotel was extremely noisy until around 4am. Bathroom facilities were not particularly clean and in urgent need of renovation. (Shower did not work properly)

    Cheap, and good location

    Musty smell in hotel Rooms and general areas look as if they need a good wash Hotel review advised that there was free internet - none available No VAT receipt issued, although requested No Bar Service available

    Bed was comfortable

    Room was extremely hot and had to leave window open all night, so lot of street/traffic noise. Cups in room were dirty with lipstick marks. No iron in room when it was specified in description. Only one towel given for a double occupancy room.

    It would of been nice to have been told that the hotel is on the top of a multi storey car park.

    "It's very cheap but overall I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room and would not stay there again. I also regretted recommending my parents to stay in this hotel as someone entered their room during the night." (107611471)

    It's cheap.

    The room was in need of proper cleaning, there was only one towel provided for 2 people, there was no double glazing and the noise from outside was loud.

    "I enjoyed staying at the hotel and was glad I chose it for the accommodation and the location." (107926978)

    Staff were friendly and flexible by letting me have my room early as I had to off load my luggage and attend an event. It was also good that breakfast was available at a reasonable time, especially on a Sunday when people often like abit of a lie in.

    the staff were very friendly

    we had booked in for 5 nights but when we got there they had only booked us in for 1 night. They had to move us to another hotel for 2 nights and then back again for the last 2 nights of our stay.

    very comfortable bed, easy to follow directions to get to the hotel, very good breakfast, wide choice, nice staff, great value place to stay.

    shame that the view from my window was just a wall, but this didnt matter as i was asleep whilst in the room and the view from the dining room was great!

    price

    very noisy (party a few doors away after night club chuck out) very smelly - smoking in adjacent rooms and corridor damp smell and freezing bathroom with no heating. Poor shower that would not stay upright but fell down within seconds, blasting you with alternating freezing and boiling hot water. Don't bother with the hairdryer - the air outside is faster! room freezing on arrival and no ability to set timer on heater so had to wake up at 01;00, BOILING hot and trying to turn off heater in the dark

    The breakfast was very yummy, and at a time that was good for us and the staff were very helpfull.

    The car park was unfairly priced. needed to use my car a couple of times over the two day's and had to pay £4 every time i left. There should have been a special pass for guest to use to come and go from the car park.

    "Much better inside than out. Some mould in the shower but the room otherwise clean. Could easily be as good as Premier Inn. I paid £36 and would easily have paid £75. £36 is approaching Salvation Army Hostel or House of Ill repute rate. " (107602298)

    "The hotel represents excellent value for money, and the quality of the rooms and other facilities is much better than one might have expected. The location is also very good, adjacent to many city centre facilities, although the location 'in the sky' above a multi-storey car park is rather unusual. " (107891529)

    Very good value for money ! The staff were very nice and helpful ! Free internet from a computer near the bar. Excellent views across the city.

    Booking-in policy. We arrived around 1100, and our itinerary meant that we wouldn't return before 2100. Whilst I certainly understand that rooms would not be ready for occupation at 1100, it would have been very useful to have sorted out the paperwork at 1100, so we could be more secure about fears the rooms might be over-booked etc.

    Comfortable/clean beds. Lovely outlook. Good size room. Nice fluffy towels. Perfectly adequate breakfast. Parking is good.

    We could not turn off the radiator which made the room too hot. The rim under the toliet could do with a really good scrub.
