    Lovely huge double bed. Very clean Excellent breakfast

    Staff didn't inform us of how to get lights on in room. Only one biscuit with tea and coffee tray when room booked for a couple. At breakfast awful tea. One teabag in a pot needs better quality tea or more tea bags used.

Whilst I would stay there again I would like to know whether there are any large parties that potentially would spill over into the bar area. Should this be the case then I would be reticinet about staying again." (108613121)

    The staff were all attentive and very pleasant. The hotel was clean and in good repair. The food was excellent although a little pricey for the wine. the pool area was great.

    A wedding party on the Sunday night was extremely noisy and roudy. We wanted a meal in the bar but were unable to find a clean table - all either in use or several with glasses and alcohol spillages. Fortunatly the staff in the restaurant were exceptional and we ate there instead. The language from some of the wedding guests in the bar area was also offensive. Overall their behaviour meant we retired to our room early to get out of the way rather than enjoy a quiet drink in the lovely bar area.

    General service very good. Room comfortable and smart.

    NO REAL ALE. Found this dismayed some foreigners who apparently had looked forward to tasting real English beer.

    Enjoyable and relaxing environment. Easy parking and access from the motorway. Rooms very comfortable and plenty of leisure facilities to enjoy.

    Waiting staff in restaurant on Friday night were excellent, I stay away and eat out often, the quality of service last Friday night was exceptional, please find a way of passing these comments on, thanks

    breakfast was good value. Hotel looked nice from outside. Hotel is nice inside also. Room was very good.

    Found there to be too many foreign staff, not all the staff were as helpfull. Not enough milk,coffee, english tea etc to keep you going while you stay. fare trade brand is not nice!

    "I knew sufficient about the accomodation from the website which was very good. Although an excellent room heating was big drawback as it could have been in dining room on a cold day" (97450816)

    Heating in the room was really inadequate although top up radiator provided. Bed head squeaked. No toilet brush in en suite,

    Excellent accommodation my only fault was we stayed for 3 nights our room was cleaned every day, but the second day it was cleaned but not very well. This would not stop me booking again.

    staff were helpful

    We were up early with our daughter - 5.30 - but were unable to take her swimming until 8 am which in fact was then too late for her. It would have been nice to have a phone monitoring system for the baby in the room which would have allowed us to use the restuarant.

    "A really nice hotel. The receptionist was a bit funny because my card did not swipe when I checked in, she asked for another card but it was their machine at fault, it worked on the other machine after I objected. This did not spoil the stay but in an otherwise faultless enviroment this minor thing stood out. I'd recommend the hotel." (97644256)

    Excellent leisure facilities and the room was modern and spacious

    No real dislikes. A bit of a drive to Cheltenham for eating for otherwise no problem.

    "There was no hotel telephone number displayed during the on-line process. This would have been useful for checking sundry other information about the hotel. The service at dinner of the food was very good, almost too fast, but we had to wait for drinks and water to be provided. Normally one would expect the drinks to be provided before the food arrived!"     "We had a fantastic stay at the chase hotel - the hotel is in a great location 5 mins from junc 11a of the m5 and 10 mins drive to either cheltenham or Gloucester - the area is full of great little pubs with top food available - the only problem is because you are in between cheltenham and Gloucester the taxi companies charge " (99290079)

    Great hotel, well decorated all mod cons and great facilities once the refurbishment is complete this in April (07) - great full English breakfast

    "I was disappointed that the Leisure Facility was closed due to refurbishment---- but I was aware of this. I didn't use the alternative facility went out on the roads running instead.     "Internet access did not work, television only partly worked, no milk and sugar for tea in room. I stay at a hotel like this for the facilities. The facilities not working makes the stay frustrating and pointless. The staff did try and help me out. They were generally courteous and my room service meal was excellent." (99219187)

    Room was well laid out and bed was a good size and comfortable

    bathroom was serviceable but scruffy, cieling was peeling and there was some discoloured putty on the bath and the surround
