    the room had a bed

    far too many, from the cracked tiles in the bathroom to the dead beetle on the floor to the 5 mile walk to breakfast to the £4.00 for an hour on the internet (even though I later found out I could have had 24hours for £5.00.) Pity as you have nice staff and its not their fault.

    Upgraded to the Executive Suite and was very pleasantly surprised at the spacious room and mezzanine floor was great. Ate in the restuarant and the food was good and service quick. Very cosy and welcoming bar area.

    Very cold corridors leading to the rooms. Cleaniness of bedroom was excellent but the restaurant windowsills very dirty. Could do with a lick of paint in some area's and it looked a bit shabby.

    staff forgot my alarm call dirty bathroom particularly around the bath (mould and mildew spray cleans tiles and grout really well but does contain bleach I think dining room poorly signposted and miles away

    Very noisey flooring- that item throughout the suspended floored areas does need attention.

    The leisure facility was good

    Room decor not as fresh as most Premier Inn places I have stayed, shower dated and slow, stiff to operate. Neighbours conversations and TV too easily heard through adjoining door. No Wifi and internet connection limited by time/cost.

    bed was comfortable this was the only thing the hotel had going for it

    shabby carpets through out the building in need of decoration staff very miserable food was cold very expensive poor quality meals. our daughter ordered a lasagne which when served was about 4 inches wide with a bit of garlic bread and nothing else and we were charge

    The hotel facilities were rubbish. Breakfast was awful. Room was filthy, carpets worn, bath falling apart, shower did not work properly, shower curtain filthy.. need I go on?

    "Everything was excellenbt except for the fact that there were no lifts. There were supposed to be stair lifts for the first few floors (which we couldn't make work!) but there was nothing down to our rooms in the basement." (97762560)

    Service, cleanliness and staff were excellent. Facilities and restaurant were of good quality.

    Room needed a refit, carpet had a hole which was covered with duck tape. We have paid less money for a far superior room in other hotels.

    "Accomodation is functuonal and comfortable. We booked a table in the restaurant for dinner rather than travel into town. Food was fine but all in our party of 5 did felt it was expensive for what it was. 10% service was added to the bill automatically.     "Wehave stayed in other Ramada Hotels and found them to be totally different to this hotel. Very expensive for a room only basis. The facilities were excellent. Staff need to be supervised and be taught manners!" (3304455311)

    We enjoyed our stay but felt the staff were un-supervised and not at all friendly. The hotel was tired and in need of a complete refurb. Also not baby friendly. The rooms did not have a fridge - we only wanted to keep water and have ice but were told this was not available in all the rooms.

    The food was disgusting. We had a carvery on the saturday night and because the food was kept under heat lamps it was dried out, same as for breakfast which was not included in our price as we thought for our accommodation. Had we known the breakfast was not included we woud not have paid to have it. Eggs - hard, bacon completely dried out.

    Staff were very friendly. Hot spot available which was a plus.

    Some of the equipment in the gym could do with updating.
