    Big room.

    plenty of parking spaces, friendly helpful staff(local directions and info.), clean room, excellent restaurant, well stocked bar and good breakfast.

    A good choice of food, a good atmosphere, friendly service.

    All the mattresses,beds in the family room need to be replaced, they are to hard, make to much noise, in otherwords you cannot get a good nights sleep the floor was softer.

    "Overall, my wife & i had a wonderful stay. The staff were very professional & polite, something that seems to be dissappearing in this day & age. The meals were of a good size portion, well presented & tasty. The drinks prices were also very reasonable." (107720655)

    99% perfect.

    1 small problem, a personal thing realy, I'm a non smoker & the hotel permit guests to smoke in the bedrooms, so the first thing i was confronted with when i opened the door was the smell of stale cigarette smoke, not nice.

    "This hotel is a convenient 10 minute drive from the International Conference Centre with plenty of free parking and run by warm friendly people. The shame is, this hotel is very 1970's dated and in need of modernisation. It is a little scruffy and some areas reminicent of an old peoples home,(ie, spare chairs and beds in corridors; chairs and chipboard furniture that don't match; owners personal photos in the dining room,etc). This hotel is a cross between a seaside B&B and a local pub, including a plastic singing deer head in the resturant." (97298286)

    Friendliness of the proprietor and the room and hotel was clean

    Very old and 70's dated furniture and tatty decor. Cigarette burns in the plastic sink - non matching taps/furniture. Pieces of toilet paper placed accross the loo as an indicator of being cleaned - mimic of the plastic hygiene seals used in some hotels. This looks so wrong.

    NICE HOTEL,NICE ROOM,NICE LOCATION

    WE WERE TOLD BREAKFAST WOULD BE READY AT 7.30,WHEN WE GOT THERE NO-ONE AROUND AND EVERYTHING LOCKED UP.

    It was in the country and the staff were friendly and pleasant.

    The whole place required a vast amount of refurbishment. Although clean, it was very 'used'. The bathroom facilities were stained and not pleasant. The beds were uncomfortable and obviously old as they were visibly tatty. The dining facilities were adequate.

    "When answering the question would I recommend this hotel? the answer is dependent upon the wishes of the visitor. As an overnight stay for a business trip, this hotel was more than adequate.     "The hotel is well situated with pleanty of parking. The accomodation is fairly well equiped, clean and of a fair size. The breakfasts are excellent and the bar area is gives you an excellent area to relax after a long drive. The hotel is also well prepared for the UK no smoking ban due shortly" (99293046)

    "- Good value for money and good facilities for a business traveller perhaps staying just the one night. - Friendly owners/staff. - Easily accessible out of town location, but still conveniently close to town centre - It had a really comfortable armchair in the room; you seldom find this these days."     "This hotel is nice but slightly run down. The staff are excellent and were very helpful. Also, there are some very useful resources at the hotel such as a large wall map of the local area that I used to get into the town centre. I would like to have known that it wasn't very close to the centre of telford, but this didn't end up being an issue to me in the end." (99775677)

    The staff were very friendly and it wasn't as expensive as some other hotels in the area.

    The hotel seemed run-down but this wasn't something that bothered me.
