    Staff polite and helpful

    Booked Hotel for leisure facilities but upon arrival only Steam Room was working and that hardly even steamed my glasses up - very disappointing. Also room very small and breakfast was short staffed

    "It is not where I would locate if I was on holiday because of the limited facilities. However it was fine for what we required. I think it would have helped if there had been a brochure listing eating places and other places of interest in Swansea. As complete strangers to Swansea Town itself, we covered a lot of distance in the evening looking for a suitable restaurant." (108691914)

    An uncluttered experience that served our requirements well, and overnight stay. The room was clean and well serviced.

    Whatever stops things going down the plug hole in the bathroom sink was missing, plus one light bulb over the sink was not working. The service at breakfast was a bit hit and miss. I think that might have been because one person was trying to serve quite a few people. The food was fine.

    friendly and helpful staff, close to rail station, nice decor.

    restaurant closed on Sundays, bread roll supplied with room service was mouldy, had to wait 20 minmutes for my breakfast order to be taken due to lack of staff in the dining room, wake up call was not received.

    Tv channels dont work properly, rooms smelt damp, room too small, breakfast staff were not far from useless, breakfast was of poor quality

    "The hotel looks pleasantly decorated, but not too clean. The curtain in the room was splashed with something and so was the sensor on the ceiling. The staff, although friendly would benefit from some training. " (108178405)

    The room was pleasantly decorated.

    The shower leaked over the floor in the bathroom. The shower tray and the tiles had black mold on them. The kippers had to be sent back because they were not cooked on the first morning and we waited 45minutes for breakfast the second morning, even though the restaurant did not appear to be very busy. The young male barman clearly had very little knowledge of wine,also he picked up a slice of lemon for my drink with his fingers!

    staff were friendly and helpful

    room was much smaller than expected,poor heating system,broken shower head.but was upgraded after all this so it made up for disappointment.

    Hotel was excellent

    Parking, when I booked I did not realise there were no parking spaces. Did not see it on the booking form, and when I printed off the acknowledge it did not state that there was no parking facilities.

    Superb room and hotel

    However its excellence was overshadowed by blocked basin - couldn't raise the lid- and dropping of shower head while I was taking shower, water was splashing everywhere before the head fell

    Excellent receptionist, very helpful, friendly and polite, sorted my problem very quickly.

    Food is franchised out, didn't have a chef so wouldn't do snack food in bistro despite having menu's out to pick from. Jacuzzi not working and steam room dirty.

    Check in staff excellent as I arrived early and my room was made available 2 hours early.Night porter very courtious and served me a night cap!

    Small point....bathroom was very clean but slight smell on first opening door after room closed up all night.This could put somebody of a weak disposition off!

    "Because of the state of repair of the room it very much spoiled my stay also I did not get much sleep so it ruined the next day as I was very tired." (107373348)

    All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast and the evening meal was very good.

    Broken window kept opening in the night making it very cold and because of wind causing the bathroom door to keep opening and closing in the night, the bathroon door was also broken could not close or lock properly.

    Friendly efficient staff, spotless clean, good buzz in the bar perhaps some more comfortable seating

    Did not like the air conditioned equipment in the bedroom, Wash hand baisen had no stopper or cold water, extractor fan very loud

    The reception staff were exceptionally good-friendly and helpful.The fresh flowers in the exec room were a lovely touch. The leisure facility was very good apart from no spa.Monday breakfast was great.

    The twin room was a real come down after the Exec room.It certainly was not a room with a view.I was surprised that there was a large stain on the carpet in the exec room.The Sunday breakfast was awful(gas problems)

    "Friendly and very comfortable - good value for quite luxurious and comfortable beds. " (97275318)

    Supper in the restaurant was much better than we were expecting. Soundproofing and excellent air conditioning was a big bonus. beds very comfortable. Chap who took our bags to our room was extremely pleasant. Very convenient for station and parking. Nice soaps & moisturisers in the bathroom - no silly little packets.

    There was a slightly odd smell in the restaurant. The staff were a bit disorganised - we were initially shown to a double room despite having booked a twin. Went to the restaurant in the evening, and there was absolutely nobody there - had to phone reception to ask to be served in what was ostensibly a pricey restaurant. Breakfast was fast and well organised.

    The staff were attentive and polite. The room was nice, although it stunk of smoke despite the huge warnings of a £100 cleaning fee for anyone who dared to do so. Breakfast was lovely, and the room service was prompt and decent.

    The people in the next room made so much noise in the middle of the night I nearly fell out of bed. The area surrounding the hotel was awful. The was no on site car park, so I found myself wandering around the town soon after my late night arrival, looking for a cash point so I could leave the car park early the following morning.

    The hotel room was clean and comforatble, and the hotel within easy access to Swansea City Centre and opposite to the Railway Station.

    The quality of the breakfast could be improved.

    "There are two entrances to the hotel. one is through a bar which put me off at first. The 'real' entrance is much better. The staff are friendly. I have used the restaurant for dinner and really enjoyed my meal. The breakfasts are good. Nicely furbished and clean except each time I have stayed here I have felt the bathroom tiles were grubby and could have done with a 'proper'clean.It put me off a bit." (97666604)

    "The Hotel is immediately outside the Train Station and close to The Glyn Vivian Art Gallery as well as the City Centre. The room was very clean,had a pleasant outlook and was quiet. The breakfast menu had some special choices and the food was cooked to order even though this meant it took a bit longer it was woth the wait. The Restaurant food was quite special and we were very glad we decided to stay for a late lunch before going home. Bed very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again if in that area." (97301747)

    Our Room , the friendliness of the staff and general decor and atmosphere. Definitely the Food.

    The Spa Pool was being regrouted so was unavailable which was a disappointment otherwise nothing to dislike.

    "the staff in the hotel cant do enough to make guests comfortable and they are very helpful. the bar manager in particular is outstanding and really made us feel welcome and looked after us . We noticed how hard he works and how busy he is and I think the hotel should definatly invest in this member of staff . Working on business development myself , i recognise business opportunites and if this person was given an assitant , the bar manager i am sure would be able to get more customers into the bar and contribute to marketing the assets of the hotel , so this would be a very wise investment in my eyes. The food was good most of the time and reasonably priced." (97021121)

    very clean and good service from staff

    we booked the hotel because of the leisure facilities and these were closed when we arrived . this was very disappointing as we really wanted to use them. Also, the free wifi advertised didnt work either which was another factor in us staying but this also was not available . also there was no windows in our room that opened so it was very stuffy .

    central location, nice facilities, breakfast included in price!

    the plug on the sink was not working, so there was no way of draining the sink - a minor annoyance. Also there was no way to open the window in the club room, this is just silly as you want to be able to regulate the temp of the room without resorting to phoning down to the desk and asking for aircon (which is noisey).

    Bathroom ventilation system too noisy, unable to listen to the morning news while having a shower.

    really helpful staff and it was great to have a gym and steam room. great location. room was very clean and comfortable.

    the food for breakfast was really terrible and the bathtub/shower set up was hard to maneuver in. also the staff didn't seem to know too much about the area.
