    the tv remote didnt work the hotel tried to charge my colleague and I more than was stated at time of booking. (12 pounds extra)

    Pleasant atmosphere. Good Staff. Breakfast was excellent.

    The room was clean etc. but the bathroom needs updating. Shower curtains are impractical and look "grubby". One would expect a separate shower in a hotel room these days.

    Resturant Staff were the best I have seen - food was out of this world. Reception girl was very good as well especially when booking second room.

    evening meal in the restaurant on the saturday was excellent. Leisure facilities were very good and the staff helpful.

    bathroom was not cleaned very well on arrival. maid broke the window catch which meant we were unable to close and lock window. breakfast was very average.

    Breakfast very good First room was appallingly hot, when I complained I was told it was above the leisure centre. Was offered another room but had to pay for the pleasure.

    Something causes rooms above the leisure centre to be far too hot, I'm sure in the winter its welcome but during the hot weather its ridiculous.

    The leisure area and food.

    Restaurant staff need to learn how to smile. No half caraffe of wine available and expensive for the quality you were serving by the glass. Room not very clean and noisy guests. Had to wait at the bar to be served whilst three staff in reception who had seen me carried on talking.

    "We stayed overnight to attend a function at the hotel. The room was pleasant and fine for the overnight stay. We did not use the leisure facilities, although these were explained to us on arrival by the receptionist who was very pleasant and helpful. Offered help with luggage and asked if we wanted to book an evening meal. Cannot comment on food in restaurant as we did not eat there, but the food at the function was very tasty. The reception area had large comfortable seats for lounging or waiting for companions, also there were some small private areas with seats along the hallway. Impressive entrance with lovely big staircase and enormous Christmas tree. We were able to get a late drink as residents. Overall a very nice, if short, stay." (97231316)

    The room was clean and warm, and pleasant enough for a night's stay.

    The bed was not very comfortable, but we are used to a different type of mattress. It was a bit too springy for our taste. Could have done with more bath towels but as we were attending for a function this wasn't particularly a problem for just one night. Could have asked for more if we had wanted.

    "We stayed at another hotel in the area the night before and was very disappointed with the accommodation, thankfully the Parkmore was excellent and we could not find fault. We will definately stay again when we are in the area." (97880601)

    We were impressed with the spaciousness of the room and the cleanliness of the hotel in general.

    The only thing that we could dislike was the roudiness of a group of men in the lounge area.

    "When I arrived and had 'checked in', I went to my allocated room to find that it had not been prepared at all. I returned to the desk and requested another room. The lady at desk was VERY helpful and I was upgraded to a double room at no extra cost. On reflection, I think the cost of breakfast should be included in the room price" (99223736)

    The overall quality was good and the detail to cleanliness excellent. The staff were on the whole polite and friendly

    rooms and bathrooms were quite small, and we only had a tiny portable TV... the bathrooms were compact and had a funny odor. Not sure what. booked over a weekend and couldnt get to sleep for the noise downstairs in the bar. after 3am i complained and the bar seemed to closed after that

    The room was fairly comfortable and quite well appointed

    The window opened on to a closed courtyard type area and there was noise from extractors or something similar. Ther was very little fresh air into the room. If we opened the window we had noise and if we closed the window we had to use the air-conditioner which was also noisy

    "We have always received a warm and friendly welcome from all the staff when ever we have stayed there. I believe all are regular staff. There is sufficient parking which is also used for the gym members and functions. The gym is well equipped with a swimming pool, although a little on the small side due to space. There is a wide selection for breakfast and a good menu for evening meals. This is a very popular hotel with guests and functions rooms used by the local area, so advance booking would be advisable."     "Your website is very clear about what you offer, as were the reception staff who were extremely helpful. Although I rate the working order and facilities as excellent, I guess the one thing that would have been better was the heating in the room. I couldn't get it to work overnight so it was very cold for one of the 2 nights there, particularly as it was snowing. However, I have myself to blame because I should have 'given in' and called someone, but it seemed stupid not to be able to do it, so I didn't." (3304203914)

    It felt comfortable and the leisure facility is excellent. Beautifully clean. The restaurant and service is excellent too.

    There's nothing that springs to mind needing sorting out. I stay in hotels regularly and often the best London hotels and yours is equally as good.

    THE ACCOMODATION WAS EXCELLENT. VERY CLEAN, THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY. WE DID NOT HAVE A MAIN MEAL, BUT THE BREAKFAST WAS OUTSTANDING. A EXCELLENT CHOICE. IN BOTH MENU AND BUFFET.

    NONE. APART FROM THE PRICE OF THE MEALS. WE THOUGHT THEY WERE ABIT EXPENSIVE. THAT IS WHY WE CHOSE NOT TO EAT IN THE RESTURANT.

    "My stay there was good, it was well situated and only a 10 minute walk to yarm town centre. The leasure facilities were excellent and all the staff were friendly.     Our room was very small for the money we payed. Also i wasnt impressed with the breakfast. I wouldnt stay there again for that reason

    Good size room, excellent staff - genuinely friendly and always helpful

    Bar lacks a little atmosphere. The breakfast needs some work. lightly deep-fried sausages are not on.

    "I asked for no feathers & also was advised no candles in rooms. normal power points available for recharging wheelchair. bath with shower good & easy to use, also grabrails in bathroom -great. ramp at front and helpful staff. english breakfast included (though on web-booking just twin rooms confirmed this), which is not the largest helping, may be able to get more -though its not self service (and I prefer some juice on the plate ie tinned tomatoes/beans), but you can have a kipper afterwards. usual cereals, fruit juices & lovely staff. Yarm just down the road with some lovely eating places -brasserie with monday jazz etc" (2684998)

    reasonable size room with bath, not noisey disco finished at reasonable time. spa facility great especially new hydro pool & massage recommended.

    corridor doors would be better to open with buttons especially in pull direction for wheelchair users. If cheaper prices I'd go again
