    "Helpful friendly staff and a lovely wedding venue." (107875410)

    Lovely grounds and woodland walks - All the little touches in the room made the difference - home baked biscuits - footspa - good toiletries - fluffy towels and bathrobes - decanter of sherry - a jug of real milk for the tea instead of those awful longlife cartons. Most important - a lLvely soft 4 poster bed and pillows too.

    Checkout is too early - 11am - fortunately for us the clocks went back that night. Also breakfast finishes at 9.30 - too early for a leisurely Sunday. The drapes were so heavy and we slept so well we overslept and missed breakfast!

    The coffee was good, bed comfy

    The canopy around the bed did not close, on your website the picture is misleading as it looks like a four poster bed. The breakfast which i ordered in the room was late,it came without the butter for the toast, no coissants. when i rang down the butter came but was so hard i was unable to spread it. The breakfast itself was very poor, one sausage,half uncooked tomatoe.small triangle of fried bread and the bacon was undercooked. i would not stay again or recommend it .

    "Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Location was excellent - you could walk into Yarm. Generally peaceful with nice grounds and walks. Conference facilities excellent." (108556152)

    children were delighted when they saw goldfish in room, room was clean, tidy and big enought for our family even with a camp bed and sofa bed...

    sausages at breakfast had too many herbs in for my daughter

    "The hotel is fantastic. A lovely country house in wonderful grounds which you are able to walk in. The room was very good indeed (it even included free sherry!) and the staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant, though not cheap, is among the best I have ever eaten. We will certainly be returning to Judges." (107755957)

    Room is well stocked with Cds, mags, mod cons etc...

    As part of a wedding party I pretty much only slept and didn't get a chance to make more of the hotel. The grounds were amazing and need further exploration.

    "The bedroom was nice but on the small side. Bathroom could have been updated with better shower for price of room. Nice goodies though. Overall we had a good stay and enjoyed our weekend." (2213894)

    Nice bedrooms, including a goldfish named John !!

    Breakfast was poor - service slow and had to ask for everything. Not fresh orange juice which I would have expected for the price.

    Refreshingly different, with wonderful eccentricities including a pet goldfish (named 'John') to look after.

    "I travel alot for business and always look forward to staying at Judges. It is far more comfortable than a hotel and the staff are exceptional. The hotel had been recommended to me by other coworkers. Judges certainly lived up to their description and to my expectations." (1969104)

    The temperature of the shower water switches from hot to cold (the water temperature is uneven).
