    "A pleasant hotel and staff made bad by poor chef and inconsiderate guests" (108792946)

    Freindly staff, good location , good leisure facilities

    Poor bar food, served uncooked cold burger! Dated and tired bathroom facilities. Noisey wedding party guests kept myself and others awake all night. Had to call reception at 4.00am and 5.00am, who threatened to evict them.

    Smart hotel in nice surroundings. Good gym and pool. Hearty breakfast.

    As the bathroom didn't have a window it needed a fan.

    Lovely hotel, mostly pleasant staff

    Gave receptionist wrong debit card. She announced in a loud voice that my card had been declined. It was very embarrassing. She needs to learn discretion!!!! Because of this I don't think I would stay at this hotel again.

    size of room and view over gardens fab....we would have preferred a kingsize bed rather than 2 single beds stuck together as had uncomfortable dip in the centre...the food in the lounge bar and breakfast in country kitchen was great...we loved hot rocks menu overlooking the gardens

    Beautiful grounds, nice room. Good breakfast. Maintenance staff helpful when towel rack wasn't coming on. Very prompt

    Front desk staff not informed on restaurants, sites in Lichfield and area. Directed me to an aging Windows 95 machine when I asked about cathedral, restaurants. Bed terribly worn, mattress lumpy.

    Excellent accomodation. Very good staff, courteous and helpful.

    One thing I value at breakfast is freshly squeezed orange juice. Unfortunately only plain orange juice is available.

    Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and standard of service was excellent. The setting was beautiful and the food was also very good.

    Staff very friendly, professional and helpful. Lovely building, excellent room, very spacious and homely in a stately kind of way. Pool and leisure facilities very nice.

    The room was very well laid out, The bed was very comfortable, excellent pillow's. The bathroom was very well stocked with good quality soaps and shower stuff

    The windows did not open.

    "The stay at Moor Hall was very enjoyable. The setting and location are excellent. On arrival and throughout the duration of the stay the reception staff were curtious and helpful, always willing to chat about the local area too. The room was good and extremely comfortable. The food was good and the dining room comfortable and in keeping withthe atmosphere of the hotel. The spa facilities were superb, gain supported by helpful staff. An excellent place to stay."     The grounds, the room and the ambiance

    No DVD or CD player with the option of hiring films etc, the breakfast room was a little cramped but the breakfast was very good.

    everything was exactly as described,the room was excellent although breakfast was poor-the hot food was not,

    the receptionist was very unhelpful especially as i had rung the day before to explain that we were attending a function in the aftternoon and would like to check in earlier to be told to go away and come back later.

    Very Comfortable rooms and pleasant public rooms and bar facilities. Did not have time to visit the leisure facilities but they looked very good

    "I knew the hotel from previous visits at functions and private dinners. This experience was as a guest for five nights. Perhaps I was 'unlucky' to be allocated that particular room. Perhaps ALL the others are perfect!" (97443787)

    location where I needed it. Food and parking adequate. Staff generally very good

    Room was small, poorly ventilated, door would not close without slamming (I apologised to the people in the room next to me for the unavoidable noise every time I closed the door. The problem was reported to the reception desk. Nothing was done.

    "The hotel was absolutely used to the limit the day I was there, with wedding parties, birthday parties, and lots of hotel guests. It was not possible to get a booking in the nicer dining room, and even in the buffet-style restaurant, we could only get a booking for 6 pm, which is very early for dinner. It was difficult to get a parking place in the lot in front of the hotel. I realise this is good business, but perhaps a little more slack should be allowed for passing trade such as myself and my business partner." (99126704)

    The coffee-making facilities in the rooms, with REAL coffee! Everything else was clean and convenient, and the staff were extremely helpful. I LOVED the Mozart as background music. Nice breakfast.

    Enormous foam pillows, and the duvet was too hot (perhaps you have summer duvets, but April is too early for them?)

    "The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very helpful. It was very busy with an event, possibly Wedding Reception, but parking was fine and, despite how busy it was, check-in etc was swift and easy. The door hanger to order breakfast to the room in the morining was not collected, despite being put out in planty of time, thus no breakfast was recieved. Disappointing, however not a major issue."     "Overall a very nice hotel with excellent facilities, the pool and leisure area was fantastic, excellent food and service in the restaurant, although it was very hot in there (Country Kitchen).     "The directions to the hotel could in my opinion be a bit more clear, with instructions given from different directions. Apart from that, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, cleanliness of the hotel as a whole was superb and great value for money.     Everything about the hotel was of a very high standard, making my stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

    "This is a beautiful hotel set in the heart of England. The hotel looks majestic and welcoming when you drive into the main gates. The hotel staff both on reception and in the dining rooms are happy to help. The internal public areas are delightful and very comfortable as are the bedrooms.     Spacious beautiful hotel set in it's own grounds.

    Bedroom decor far too dark and dismal. Dark green and orange walls with a dark green ceiling and dark curtains in a room that only overlooked a small inner courtyard.However, the bed was really comfortable - so a good night's sleep was had.

    The grounds wer lovely and overall impression was good. In addition the staff were friendly and helpful. Finally the breakfast was one of the best I've had in a long while.

    I felt that the room was small, dark and in need of modernisation.

    I really like the location, and wished I had brought my golf clubs but I had to visit my daughter in hospital - the purpose of my visit. The staff were very helpful in getting me taxis to and fro. Found the facilities of the hotel - bar restaurant - very good.
