    Nice breakfast with friendly staff

    Room was up two sets of stairs - no lift. Seals and grouting around shower was dirty. Wash basin had no plug. Furniture cheap with trim missing, curtain had fallen off fixing. Bed had some long black hairs on pillows, although sheets appeared to be clean.

    Clean, nice atmosphere, friendly, helpful owner and staff. If you are working temporarily in this area I don't think you will find better.

    A bit of a walk to shops, restaurants if you don't have a car - bus service very close though. (Very nice Indian restaurant half mile up the hill towards Morrisons)

    when i booked i wasn@t aware there was an anexe i was looking forward to staying in the house as it was old. Room was very cold on arrivel but was sorted out quickly by staff(someone had forgotten to put heating on and as i am disabled this was uncomfortable being so cold.

    "It was very clean and pleasant and most importantly, not overcrowded and noisy - I was able to continue working in my room. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.     I enjoyed the breakfast. Pleasant staff.

    There was no answer to the reception phone for around half an hour when we tried to book a taxi. We were unable to turn on the heating in the room, it was not warm. There was no hairdryer in the room which you would normally expect to have in a hotel.

    it was spotless, and the staff were very friendly, the whole place was very clean and homely, the breakfast was lovely too

    the only thing we had a problem with was we could'nt find anyone when we wanted to check out eventually someone came, but it did'nt bother us much

    "All OK apart from the breakfast in the morning. The fried egg was hard and when I requested another it seemed as though I was asking unreasonably. Had to ask for more bacon as well as only one slice available at serving counter. Tomatoes were also in short supply. Coffee was lukewarm.
