    its always cleans and smells nice.

    we had room 38 we really like that room but found the shower very weak with no water pressure. making it very hard to have a good shower.

    "The room was very clean with great views of the sea. Overall the hotel was good the only negative is that they do not serve an evening meal (though toasted sandwiches are available in the bar). Although there are plenty of eating places around after a long day's travelling I just wanted to relax. I only stayed one night as I was in the area for a business meeting the next day but I will use the hotel again when next in the area." (99837950)

    Marvellous breakfast (although you have to pay extra for it !) and good location. Staff are friendly and efficient. A bath as well as a shower is always a plus.

    Squeaky bed, no hot water in the shower. A bit tired and dated but ideal for our needs - we were hardly there.

    I particularly liked the menu pricing of breakfast - it allows you to have as little or as much as you want at reasonable individual prices.

    "On line info was generally very good...I would have liked more info an times/selections for breakfast..and recommendations for close by luncheon and dinner spots of commensurate quality and price... and a few facts about the beach nearby and the shopping strip (very nice and diverse).     The bed, for two seniors was a bit small...if a few queen size beds could be included in the selection for L10-15 more per night it would help...would make this even better.

    "From the time of booking a three night stay for myself and my partner, everything was bang on - the room was keenly priced compared with many lesser establishments and all the usual facilities were available and some less usual ones, namely a fantastic bar, and an elevator. The room was a very good size and the en suite was as new. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was tended to regularly - best of all, the hotel was close to the beach and bars and clubs, yet still peaceful at night!     The Marine Lodge was an excellent spacious building with plenty of parking available and was a stones throw from all the best bars and the beach.

    I have no complaint whatsoever regarding our stay at Marine Lodge, it ticked all the boxes!

    "I would recommend this hotel as good value for money with a prime location across from the beach and slightly away from the main amusements. The hotel is situated on a junction that is very busy, so there is a fair amount of traffic noise, but the rooms are double glazed so there is the possibility of minimizing this. The room was well presented and was well stocked with tea and coffee sachets. The water pressure for the shower at the top of the hotel was slightly low but did not present any problems."     I was very pleased that I was allowed to leave the car in the car park for the day when I had checked out. This saved a considerable amount on parking charges. The hotel staff were very helpful in advising of local restaurants.

    I felt that the breakfast was over priced and did not offer good value for money.

    Value for money, friendly staff, charming hotel in the perfect location ideal for a family holiday in Yarmouth.

    The TV in our room had bad signal reception. Fire alarm at midnight which was set off by someone smoking in their room.

    "Right on sea front as described staff were exteamly helpfull good atmosphere in hotel. Would ask for a room on rear of hotel or seaveiw as noise from road a bit of a pain.(not the hotels fault needs better policing on exhaust noise from CARS!).     Excellent VFM. staff were very friendly and willing to help wish all places I have stayed could be as good.

    Our room faced the side road and due to the hot weather we needed the window open, was very noisey due to the morons reving their cars with the oversized exhuasts.

    Room only rate so breakfast was extra. Would have preferred to pay a bit extra for the room and had breakfast included.
