    The hotel was lovely, very clean the room was fully adequate for an over night with the kids. The bathroom was very modern and clean

    The only negative was the breakfast, not the selection but the quality. I realise it is a budget hotel and so cannot expect a deluxe French breakfast, but if the rolls and croissants were fresh and at least warmed, it would have been great. Overall though more than adequate.

    although a continental breakfast - I do not eat bread products or fruit in the morning - at time of breakfast the only option was a carton of yoghurt - perhaps along with shrink wrapped cheese - a cheese platter and cooked meat platter.

    Clean and well presented. Nice refurb'd. Sufficiently convinced nobody had ever slept in the room before, how do hotels achieve that?!

    be a bit more generous with the towels and always check the soap dispensers are full!

    patience of staff with a very stupid woman and her large dog, causing chaos in the breakfast area.

    Wearrived later, but within the agreed time,for breakfast to find no mugs, no milk, and not much left to eat.

    "The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful, but as I mwentioned in my customer satisfaction survey at the hotel, twice members of staff knocked on my door and without waiting for an answer opened the door immediately.     The hotel, both the rooms and the common areas were spotless and the staff very friendly

    Bathroom smelt a bit musty and the telephone didn't work

    "It did exactly what the I needed from an overnight stay with my family for 2 nights whilst searching for a house over a weekend. Good price, clean rooms, eat as much as you kike for breakfast. Next time we are in Taunton it's a definite again" (99239588)

    Very clean and spacious room. Hotel exceptionally clean and tidy.

    TV could have been a bit bigger in the room, otherwise OK.

    "We were amazed by the high standard - we thought the name suggested the run- of-the mill Holiday Inns which are OK but nowhere near your standard. so impressed were we that we made a deliberate effort to stay in the same hotel on the way back a week later." (99695110)

    The spaciousness of the room, the immaculate condition of the furnishings, decor and bed linen, the generousness of the breakfast,

    Dislike is too striong a word but we would have appreciated another two teabags and cartons of milk for more cups of tea.

    Accommodation was clean, staff were friendly and breakfast was good

    We would have liked a more confortablearm chair in the room or some more comfortable chairs in the lounge area to enable us to sit and read the paper/book etc.

    "The location was ideal, both for visiting friends in Taunton and getting on and off the motorway quickly. The room was good value and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that we could only get an Independent, whereas we wanted to order other newspapers, including the Racing Post. We had to pay in full at the start as we only had a Switch card. Not a big problem, but a bit odd and it meant we couldn't use the phone. We did not know there were two Holiday Inns at the same location, albeit one was an Express. This caused a bit of confusion. All in all, it was good value." (1839249)

    "I have no negative comments to make. I have stayed in the Holiday Inn by Express on a number of accasions during the past two-three years and have always found my visits have lived up to my expections and have recommended this to many friends and family.     That we could bring our dog. Also, that we could take breakfast back to the room and borrow plates and cutlery for takeaways. It's not always easy to find restaurants to take a dog!

Booking is easy but your prices are rising too quickly,a corporate rate should be offered.
