    Friendly staff

    Room was a bit tired but all that I expected for the price. Breakfast at £8 is steep. My local cafe does a better one for £5.

    Appearance of outside. Free parking (this was not availbale at travel lodge) Staff - recommend days out etc and were pleasent

    Room it self needs updating. Paint failing off, window ledge broken. For price could have gone to better hotel - booked due to last min

    It was quick and easy to check-out

    The hole in skirting with an air freshener hanging from the pipes unnerved me. It lacked good ventilation and I don't know when a vacuum cleaner was last run over the carpet

    Good quiet location and very close to the train station.

    Was provided a room which did not have a water shower.

    Staff was very friendly and location was great

    The only thing I would complain about is there was still hairs in the bath when we arrived even though it was a very good price I still think it should be clean

    "Would stay there again, very good location on reasonabley quiet road close to city centre, a must is avisit to the riverside witch an avenue of resturants, pubs and a cinema." (107556112)

    Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Close to train station and within walking distance of city centre and resturants.

    Our room was not one of the re-furbished ones but thats just the luck of the draw i suppose, no grumble aimed towards the hotel at all.

    Pleasant welcoming staff. Desk open giving security 24 hrs. Room was cared for and kept reasonably clean. Generally comfortable. There was parking and little noise.

    Room needed some refurbishment Chairs sagged , wallpaper coming off wall in places. Shower tray did not empty fast enough so filled with water. This had caused black mould to form in corners.

    Pleasant staff and decent location for city centre.

    Back to the 1970's! Sagging matress, stained carpet, poor fixtures and fittings, long wait for hot water, no shower gel replacement for second night stay...I didn't try the breakfast as I think £8-£10 for a fry up is steep and I had not heard good reports from other colleagues staying at the same time.

    The staff were very friendly and attentive.Breakfast choice was very large and of good quality.Extras left in the rooms were generous.

    The cleanliness of the rooms was not too great,but adequate.Although the carpet was not very clean at all,with stains.

    Walking distance to bars and short taxi into town although you could walk. The hotel staff were really helpful & parking was free. Good value for money.

    The room was bit dated and very blue. Had to wait for night porter to let us in. No breakfast included.

    "It was a good place just to get your head down for the night, Was woken up by drunks stumbling in at 3am, taking into account I stayed on a Saturday night (obviously this is not the hotels fault) The floors were also quite squeaky. So if you can put with that its fine, all the under sheets were crisp and white and bathroom was white and clean looking, staff were very professional and friendly. If I was on a night out in Norwich I would stay here again, but not if I was on a business trip, just due to how noisy the place was. " (107510723)

    The staff at the Hotel are excellent - very friendly and helpful. Good car park with easy access to Carrow Road and the City centre. Excellent opportunity to meet the Norwich fans who were all very welcoming and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to any football fans visiting Norwich.

    Rooms are a little on the tired side - could do with refurbishing. But that said it was adequate for our stay.

    "All my needs were met . Being a disabled guest i hadasked for a room near the lift or on ground floor. This was met and even advised on the best way to leave the hotel with out any accidients on the icy and snowy steps/carpark. " (107755024)

    The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

    The room was not to standard, the shower just dribbled very difficult to wash. The bar was not open much at all.

    Five min walk into town. Clean and tidy.

    Had a loud group of people running about the floors in the early hours. Cigerett smoke was also coming into our room from the small window at this time also.

    "When I looked at this hotel online, it looked like a nice place to stay. However on reaching my room, it was a horid shade of blue, i mean horid, blue everything. the bed was uncomfortable and hard, the wardrobe door didn'tshut properly, and the bathroom, was tiny. You could use the toilet, brush your teeth and have a shower all at the same time!!!! I hjave herd of compact but that was Ridiculous. I wont be wasting my companies money again!!!!!" (107577398)

    "Due to the fire safty aspectes and poor presentation of rooms it was decided not to remain but to return some 200 miles back to Portsmouth. Due to the emotional upset and unavailability Disable rooms and pet accommodation." (107190518)

    staff friendly and tried to be helpfull

    disabled facily were not suitable as fire escape was down steps and all accommodation was on first floor or above. The lift was to small as a wheel chair did not fit in it. The access slope to the car park was in need of attention as the front wheels sank into the soft edge when leaveing, carpets in the rooms offered were not clean and the shower had mould in it.Even after phoneing the hotel to check on the facilities ,the room assigned was to full of furniture to enable the use of the wheelchair and the walk-in shower you still had to step up into to use.door ways were narrow and the one disable room was for a single person.lacking a plug in the rather small hand basin,the put you up bed stowed under the main bed still required moveing of furniture and then it would render the room unsutable for a wheelchair bound person.

    The internet booking system worked very well. There was always a member of staff available at the Reception Desk,who were very helpful and friendly. If you are staying more than 1 night there is access to your room during the day.

    The room i was in was adequate but the fittings and equipment were a little dated.
