    the staff was so friendly and helpful

    the bathroom wasn't that clean. it looked clean in that hotel way, but the tile floor had long-standing dirt ground in between, and it just didn't seem that clean.

    Room facilities not working Trouser press / lamps. tv not attached to the wall secureely and wires hanging loose. Bed old and very soft / springy

    Looked nice, good bar comfortable sitting areas.

    No biscuits with Tea/coffee (in room). bed was pretty awful

    room needs attention. Cracked handbasin, broken hot water tap, shower head clip broken, hairs in shower tray, burn hole in net curtain, dangling extension lead for kettle/fan, and back of bathroom door was filthy.

    "It was a pleasant night, we had a good sleep which is most important in a hotel. Room could have done with some AC and perhaps a fridge since the meals weren't cheap. " (108404741)

    Bed was comfy and big, much bigger than expected. The staff were friendly and polite.

    Rooms were too hot, shower was weak, breakfast was much too expensive. Room felt a bit cramped and small.

    "Although I stayd for 14 days on my last visit to London when I tried to extend my stay for another three nights they charged my 55 pounds for each night which is 15 pounds above the average of my stay. I think that they took advantage." (107539829)

    Staff very nice, Hotel clean, Cheap and cheerful. Recently renovated bar- def worth a look, havent seen something like it in a while.

    No food available at weekends. Very poor signposting. No airconditioning.

    checked in at 11:00pm and the night staff were great!

    Rear fire escape had building materials blocking the exit!

    Cheap considering its proximity to London. Staff were very friendly and helpful

    The room was too warm as the radiator was unable to be completely turned off. The corridors were very warm and could do with a makeover. The food which was allegedly freshly prepared was clearly either frozen/microwaved or both.

    staff were really nice and friendly

    only got hot chocolate sachets and biscuits on the first day in my room - a bit petty I know but noticeable and sadly missed.

    The hotel is convenient to family that we visit regularly.

    There was far too much furniture in the room making it almost impossible for 2 people to move around.Trouser press didn't work. Towels extremely thin.

    Good value, ideal location, nice retaurant, quiet location and wonderful, friendly staff

    Room and access corridors fairly tatty. Visible damage to room door appearing to be from forced entry.

    All very helpful, good attention to detail required.

    Only one, the chef seemed fixated with the use of herbs. I ate in the hotel in the evening, and the starter was Asparagus with a hollandais type sauce - covered with Herbs - masking the taste. The main course was Mushroom and Chicken rissotto again covered in herbs, again spoliing the tasle of the rissotto, and lastly even breakfast came with herbs on the mushroom and bacon, sorry to complain about this, but it detracted from an otherwise superb value for money hotel.

    The staff were very friendly and accommodating towards my needs

    The room was absolutely freezing!! I didn't have a hairdryer in the room either, so had to call reception to bring one to my room.

    Very efficient and friendly staff

    The room which was small and airless(one small window) had a huge bed with a chest of drawers in front of it....very cramped and not much room to walk about.
