    would never stay there again and i would recommend that nobody else does either..the room was grotty and smelt bad and the bathroom facilities were like a stuck on caravan bathroom..

    Room was dingy and dirty. Fittings in very bad condition. Breakfast a rip off for the price. The shower room resembled something from out of a caravan and was only big enough for midgets to use.

    Booked on the basis that there is wireless hotspot in the room, but turned out that I need to upgrade to a more expensive room to get hotspot. A rip-off! No lounge.

    The staff is exceptional: very helpful and pleasant. There is a nearby free bus service that goes to Heathrow and from there you can take the tube into London. There is a charming pub across the street with friendly people and excellent food.

    The room was extremely small and the bathroom was miniscule. The room was probably OK for one person but it was tight for two people. Also, for those who need real quiet - planes from Heathrow do fly right over the building.

    room very small, only good for transit stay, not good for any type of long stay. portapotty sink toilet and shower complex is too small even for transit travel.

Also the shuttle service was important to us and is definitely an important component.     Good place to stay before flying out of Heathrow, good relative to the cost. The shuttle service is important and makes this a good choice.

    Front desk had lost our reservation, but they were able to put us in a room anyway. Bathroom/shower leaves a lot to be desired, but for a reasonably priced place to stay before flying out of Heathrow we have no complaints.

    "The lodge was quite good value for money considering that it was only GBP 30.00. As it was so near to the airport, it was very noisy from the planes in the evening therefore no sleep till after 11.30 pm. " (107478726)

    The Lodge was clean. The staff were helpfull and the service by mini bus to the airport was very useful.

    The bed had one very flat pillow. They could be more generous with tea, coffee, milk and sugar items in the room. More variety in the breakfast menu would be better. One toilet with shower upstars is insufficient as there are many rooms.

    The location was good.

    The staff were rude. The shuttle bus driver complained several times about taking me to Heathrow when I had a change of circumstances and had to leave early, and he spent the duration of the journey cursing and swearing at other drivers. The room wasn't cleaned and tidied ready for my arrival. The beds were still unmade from the last occupant. The hotel had a strong smell of damp throughout.

    No information to suggest breakfast was not avaiable during the weekend, only a basket service. The room was located opposite the staff area, so very noisy with squeaky door from about 6.30am!!! I booked on line but the hotel had no recollection of my booking and I had to pay again. The bathroom is the smallest I have ever had to use in a hotel

    "Thankfully, the weather was good so we could be away all day and then we slept there and left early. It was adequate as a place to put your bags down, but way overpriced for a disgusting hotel." (108191936)

    He let me check in early and the airport shuttle was reliable for me (although I heard the man at the front desk take a call from someone at the airport. He said, "the shuttle doesn't run after 3:00" and then he advised the person which bus to take.) The hotel was very close to the airport. The beds were very comfortable.

    We found out on arrival that having a bathroom in your room is an extra 15 BPS. The shared bathroom is absolutely filthy. The room smelled. The carpeting was disgusting.

    The shuttle bus driver was very friendly and welcoming. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room was a good size (we had a four bed room).

    THe general cleanliness of the rooms was not good. WE also had a mix up with the room which meant we carried four heavy suitcases all the way up a flight of stairs (no lifts) and then had to carry them all the way down and out across the road to a separate building.

    Ensuite was very smelly permeating through whole room. The ensuite itself hardly warranted that name being a tacked-on 'portaloo' facility. Only one towel was provided for two people. The noise from reception all through the night meant no sleep.The room was not very clean and facilities were barely adequate.
