    Quick and friendly service, clean facilities, free airport shuttle. Free bus to Heatrow airport Terminal 5 stops just down the road, providing a direct connection to the London Underground.

    Strong cigarette odour in the room, TV not working, no lightbulb in the bedside lamp.

    We found everything clean and efficient and would certainly stay there again. We asked for an extra pillow - no problems. Bed was clean and comfortable.

    A few hiccups in being collected by the shuttle, but we got there in the end.

    Good value, basic but clean and very handy for Heathrow. Free shuttle service.

    Mattresses ok for average sized, healthy people, but not for large people or bad backs.

    Friendly helpful staff all smiling and ready to give help, great breakfast that I could choose and not just have it dumped in front of me. Good evening meal in Pub reccomended by hotel staff which also had friendly, smiley staff.

    Wonderful, easy to work and get the right temperature shower, but a tad leaky so barefoot to the loo till the room dried out however, was small bean problem.Only complaint was being given a choice of a smoking room and then discovering on arrival there wern't any??? I would have chosen it anyway, but it's nice to know in advance so one can prep(arm patch)for a good nights sleep.

    Free airport shuttle! Very helpful staff. Not crowded. Very close to airport, but not noisy.

    Wifi wasn't working until morning of the second day.

    Hotel mini-bus not in use due to it being serviced therefore transport to airport along with luggage a little cramped!!

    I was impressed by the friendly service at heathrow Lodge and the kindness of the manager and driver. The small room had a comfortable bed and it was quite adequate.

    "I was so dissapointed with the general appearance of everything in the hotel especially the bed and bedding that I had difficulty sleeping there. If it had not been so late at night and we had just finished a long flight thus being unable to get home which was over two hundred miles away I would have not stayed at this hotel. I have never stayed in such a run down premises in my life and hope to never be so unfortunate again. Anyone reading this should not be misled by the picture of the outside of the motel which looks quite decent, the inside is terrible." (108401549)

    Breakfast was okay

    The whole hotel was in a very poor state. I was afraid of touching anything because everything looked dirty. The carpets were so filthy I would not put my feet on the floor without my shoes on.The toilet was dirty.The bedding looked as though it had been slept on before. The towels and bedding were so washed out that I would not have used them for floor cloths. Everything gave the impression of being old or secondhand.

    My second stay there. Improvements have been made.

    Internet info regarding shuttle service from Heathrow needs more clarity. Both times I have stayed there I have had to wait 2-hours for a pick-up. That should be made clear to clients when booking on line.

    Staff were extremely helpful

    Bed linen: would have preferred not to have a bottom sheet with holes in, & would suggest that the quilt size be reassessed. e.g. King size quilt would have been better, especially as there was no top sheet to prevent falling off the bed. Bathroom:- no sink plug available. Breakfast:- was later than it should have been (7.15am instead of 7am), & was a rush for us to be ready for the courtesy car/van at 7.30am.

    Room was dingy and dirty. Fittings in very bad condition. Breakfast a rip off for the price. The shower room resembled something from out of a caravan and was only big enough for midgets to use.

    The staff is exceptional: very helpful and pleasant. There is a nearby free bus service that goes to Heathrow and from there you can take the tube into London. There is a charming pub across the street with friendly people and excellent food.

    The room was extremely small and the bathroom was miniscule. The room was probably OK for one person but it was tight for two people. Also, for those who need real quiet - planes from Heathrow do fly right over the building.

    Good place to stay before flying out of Heathrow, good relative to the cost. The shuttle service is important and makes this a good choice.

    Front desk had lost our reservation, but they were able to put us in a room anyway. Bathroom/shower leaves a lot to be desired, but for a reasonably priced place to stay before flying out of Heathrow we have no complaints.

    "The lodge was quite good value for money considering that it was only GBP 30.00. As it was so near to the airport, it was very noisy from the planes in the evening therefore no sleep till after 11.30 pm. " (107478726)

    The Lodge was clean. The staff were helpfull and the service by mini bus to the airport was very useful.

    The bed had one very flat pillow. They could be more generous with tea, coffee, milk and sugar items in the room. More variety in the breakfast menu would be better. One toilet with shower upstars is insufficient as there are many rooms.

    The location was good.

    The staff were rude. The shuttle bus driver complained several times about taking me to Heathrow when I had a change of circumstances and had to leave early, and he spent the duration of the journey cursing and swearing at other drivers. The room wasn't cleaned and tidied ready for my arrival. The beds were still unmade from the last occupant. The hotel had a strong smell of damp throughout.
