    This place is a dump! The pictures do not reflect the truth inside. The room is small & cramped. The bathroom smells. The ceilings and walls are cracked. There is plenty of dust everywhere and the breakfast is toast, ham, cheese, cereal and bargain basement juice. I was charged 74 pounds per night to stay in a supposed 4 star hotel. Absolute rip! The reception staff don't even speak English properly. Don't bother asking for directions either because they are useless.

    24hr reception, ensuite, breakfast included, in-room facilities: iron, kitchenette (incl microwave and fridge), tv. Good amount of hanging space

    lack of fan or aircon - room was west facing and early summer, so had heated up significantly by the time I checked in.

    staff seemed friendly enough

    my requests for a ground floor room weren't met, so subsequently my elderly grandmother had to walk up 3 flights of stairs, the rooms were extremely small, and breakfast was a very disjointed and strange affair, we had to ask for cutlery and plates.

    TV didn't work, kettle didn't work, window didn't close, water wasn't warm, asked "concierge" quickest route to Albert Hall and he didn't speak English. When I signed and paid my on line reservation was printed out with all my credit card details, including my security code - this is apalling bad practice and against the Banking Codes.

    room was good

    breakfast room was a little too small but "cosy". the guests in the rooms above or next too a "fire door" can be unpleasantly surprised by big noise when somebody enters or exits a hallway. easily fixed by a noisebreaker, maybe?

    " We booked due to the location and wish we had travelled further. MUCH further. Had I not arrived so late at night then I would certainly have walked out of the hotel and looked for something better. A bus shelter perhaps. Places like this are just hanging on and should be closed down as soon as possible." (107942504)

    None, even though cheap-ish. Pay £5 more!

    Where to start? This is absolutely NOT a 3 star hotel. It is dirty and the rooms are tiny. Breakfast only starts at 0730, so no good for contractors.

    only 1 sachet of coffee and tea in room each day - stingy!!! the bottom bed sheet was not straightened out - top sheets ok asked to pay by debit card and not credit card

    Perfectly placed for conference venue in Natural History Museum. Very quiet courteous staff. plentiful though basic breakfast. Very good value for money at £140 for 4 nights!

    Although room fairly clean shower needs attention. I am also concerned that urgent maintenace needs to be done on shower cublicle as there may be a leak if this is not attended to. Corridors needed painting as they had black marks on them. My room small but comforatable. For security would be useful to have cupboard with door to take laptops etc.

    The people were very friendly...I liked the fact that I was able to book in at any time of the day...2am in the morning in fact. The room had loads of equipment....microwave, tv, iron/ironing board, comfy bed, it was very warm but possible to open window if you prefer cold...the shower was like power shower and plenty of hot water. where I was happy to park car overnight without worrying...on street parking free between 6pm - 8.30am following morning..also 5 mins walk from earls court tube.

    Could have done with a refurb but generally ok....

    The reception/ front desk man was really friendly and helpful

    The room was filthy dirty, half of the things didnt work and it was very small - we couldnt open the wardrobe as the bed was right infront of it - the toilet seat was hanging off, the shgower cubicle was broken so you couldnt close it, I was bitten by a 'bug' and am awaiting a GP appointment as my face has swelled. the breakfast bread was stale and the cutlery was dirty

    "Well situated for a stay in London. Very close to Earls Court tube station. There's a big Sainsbury's supermarket around the corner for anyone wishing to eat in the room/not dine out alone. The room had an electric cooking ring, microwave and kettle. This was my second time to book this hotel." (107208243)

    Courteous and friendly staff. Room contained all facilities as advertised plus more. Room was clean and well insulated allowing a restful stay with no noise or disturbance.

    Walls all along corridor need a lick of paint. Breakfast does not include a fry but perhaps this is not so bad and better for one's health! No complaints.

    Cheap price for location.

    No lift and very steep stairs to climb. Was charged extra for paying via a credit card. Poor security at nights, front door was unlocked at all times.

    Nessuno a parte il call center di activehotel.com (no good points apart from the call center of the activehotel.com which set me free of the nightmare i was living cancelling my booking while i was already there)

    beware of this hotel !!! the room and the carpet and the covers of the bed were extremely dirty... loud noises coming from other rooms, doors slammed, staff arrogant and unpolite...it has been a nightmare i had to run away going in another hotel. Per gli italiani: stanze lercie (la porta del bagno era una porta a soffietto, i copriletti e la moquette erano pieni di macchie di sporco, la stanza era sudicia), rumori nell'albergo, staff estremamente scortese, arrogante e maleducato... sono scappata dall'albergo un'ora dopo il check in andando a dormire in un altro albergo..

    Rooms were badly maintained: black mold in bathroom, filthy bed clothes, beyond dusty carpet and scuffed walls. Very unpleasant overall and probably violates health standards.

    "For us as a mature couple, used to a little more luxury it lacked something I find difficult to describe. It was very central for our needs the staff were great. Don't take a car unless you want to park it some distance away and pay about " (99491542)

    staff were really helpful and had a very happy disposition

    room a bit small but adequate, and it was great to have a fridge, sink, hotplate and microwave in the room as I like to do my own food.

    "I am 70 and would have liked some indication of floor level of room. I doubt I would have booked it if I knew how high it was. Staff were friendly and always to be found. Concise instructions given so I could walk to exhibition." (97510347)

    Shower room was small but worked well and was clean.

    Wardrobe door was not possible to open being too close to bed. Had to assemble hanging rail in wardrobe.Only one pillow on bed and no spare. Room lobby night not working, even after being reported.
