    "Most satisfactory with very helpful Staff." (107908154)

    The Staff were most helpful especially as I mentioned that since booking,I had read adverse reports concerning the lack of cleanliness. However all was well and the room was very clean.

    I gather that the hotel is to be closed for re-furbishment and certainly the decor needs some improvement.

    Hard to find any!! Looked presentable from the outside- Reception clean and tidy

    Room 405, disgusting, dirty, side of bed all ripped and unclean, springs stick in your back when in bed- internet shows availability of cooked breakfast but not available, lack of facilities in room- would advise our company never to use again!! we are a 1.2billion turnover construction company and spend a fortune on hotels throughout the uk and this is the worst i have come across

    Convenience of location for proximity to the Royal Albert Hall; General efficiency and friendliness of staff

    Location at a road junction resulted in almost continuous traffic noise, leading to an inadequate night's sleep. Your publicity offered choice between English and Continental breakfast. In fact no English was available, and no reason given.

    "Although the hotel was only 2 star, it was still £75 for the night and was well below standard and not as advertised. It was only the fact that we were staying for one night only and hardly there that made it bearable. " (108225691)

    Sheets were clean and beds were ok

    Room tiny and shabby, tv and phone not working, shower mouldy, no hairdrier, no air con,only one thin pillow and towel per guest, drawers and toilet door broken, powdered milk.

    Cost is cheap in the context of London. Very good location for our purposes. Each day beds nicely made up and clean towels.

    Overall refurbishment needed, shabby and worn. Rather like old student accommodation. Poor quality TV set. Only tried one breakfast - staff willing but overwhelmed. Better value breakfasts in nearby cafes. First room offered was shockingly dirty, WC hanging off wall, door jammed trapping us inside for several minutes. Willingly changed by reception and triple room offered for second and third night but we stayed put.

    The rooms were too small to be marketed as doubles. 6 feet by 7 feet.The tiles in the showers were cracked and mouldy. The furniture ( 1 small chest of deawers)was falling apart. Our friends had to move out of their room in the night as water was leaking through the ceiling onto the bed. They were given a single room as the hotel was full.

    Entrance and reception good. Breakfast facilities were ok. An ideal placement for where I was working and not too noisy for the centre of London.

    Decor in room needs upgrading. Bathroom rather depressing, water in the sink wouldn't go down. Finish on bath has seen much better days - it looks dirty.

    Had to fix the toilet flush myself as it had nearly fallen off Don't think the bath had ever been cleaned Shower head bracket broken so didn't hang on the wall Sink water wouldn't drain away properly No grille in the plug hole Room smelled of cigarettes Window broken and difficult to open

    given key to a room which was not ready. very poor signal to television could not watch anything. switched kettle on and all power sockets blew which wasnt fixed therefore we checked out early to find elsewhere to get a drink.

    My single room had a window that would not shut and someone had shoved toilet roll in between to try and keep the draught out. There was no light bulb in the lamp, horrible tea whitener and dirty walls.Also dirt around the bathroom pipes.

    Good Location. Comfortable bed. Nice clean sheets.

    The staff was very kind and helpful.

    I was made to wait for my for two hours. The room was small, which was acceptable, however the bedding was unclean.

    None with the exception of the helpfulness of the evening receptionist.

    Unhelpful, surly receptionist on duty when we arrived, a very unclean and hot room in a state of some disrepair, inadequately flushing toilet and mould all over the walls in the shower room.

    very good location

    both rooms were tatty, and run down with large areas of peeling plaster and mould on the walls and ceiling, not a healthy environment for and asthmatic as my daughter is. The showers were old and the grouting had large black patches, none of my family wanted to use them. Window in one room was broken which meant the noise of the traffic throughout the night was non-stop.

    "Although the Eden Plaza has one of the best locations for a stay in Kensington, the hotel itself was overpriced, understaffed, undercleaned, and shoddy. It was more akin to a Hostel than a Hotel." (108074479)

    Location was excellent.

    Cleanliness was a factor. Facilities were shoddy. No internet, which is essential. No toiletries to speak of. Shower stall was dirty. Television reception was poor. No remote control. Two lightbulbs in the room were non functional.

    Comfortable beds and new bathrooms. Breakfast was served in a pleasant area and the variety of food was good.

    Requested early check in as I was travelling through the previous night, but not available Room was small but adequate for a short stay.

    a bed to sleep in and five minutes walk from the tube station.

    booked via internet had confirmation of a different hotel and then on the day of travel was advised the hotel booked was full. only available hotel was the eden plaza which to be perfectly honest was the worst hotel we have stayed in ever, dirty beyond dirty & small beyond small.

    The receptionist was very friendly and pleasant.

    The hotel room seriously needed upgrading. The walls were covered in marks and makeup and who knows what. The bathroom ceiling had mold growing all over it. The shower walls had mold as well. All it needed was for some bleach to be sprayed directly on the walls and left to soak. The room needed a paint job. It was a bit warm in the room and could have done with a fan.

    The hotel is in a very nice area, close to shops and two underground stations. The room was very clean.

    "Whilst the staff were very pleasant and the asthetics of the building were fine, the hotel internally was of very poor quality and smelled of dampness.     It was just what we asked for, a nice bed to sleep in for an overnight stay.

    Nothing was there to dislike.
