    "The hotel itself was lovely, we were dubious as had read bad reviews before we stayed but we were really pleased with accommodation and thought the room and restaurant was excellent and we will be staying again, hopefully in the same room every time we come to london. We can brush off staff attitude as it does not bother use but I think some guests may find that an issue." (108863616)

    Room was upgraded to club and this was excellent. very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was really lovely with good staff and a very friendly smiley face from the manager. The food was very good. We were really pleased overall.

    The let down was really front of house staff, who did not seem to want to be bothered with guests and when asked questions seemed as if it was an intrusion on them. They did not smile and were not warm or approachable (apart from one lady) and when asked directions almost just shrugged.

    Some staff members were very helpful and glad to assist. The free internet was also a plus.

    Being asked to pay upfront for the total stay on check-in was a total surprise as it is not the normal practice. The Hotel advertises a fitness facility, but the treadmill was out ot order for the whole of my stay (11 days).

    Room was very quiet and the bed was comfy. Breakfast selection was good. Close to the tube.

    The reception staff spoke very little English which meant that they could not understand what we were asking for and were less able to help.

    The club room was very comfortable with all the facilities. Nice decor, modern, polite staff and good location.

    If the room wasn't discounted I wouldn't have paid the original price since in my opintion it was too high for the size of the room. Towel warmer in room 202 needs replacing. It's all rusty.

    Good service with really helpful staff who were keen to please. A really convenient place to stay with close parking and underground access. Would have been a great place to stay if we were not in a basement room and could have opened a window.

    Instructions for use of the Aircon and television were not good and took a great deal of playing around with to get working. Even with the aircon unit working it could not cope with the heating that made the room far too hot.

    I beleive I was overcharged 6 pounds for breakfast for the last morning at the hotel. I also did not realize the per night charge for the first two nights stay was almost 4 times the rate for the remaining nights. This is a problem with booking on-line that the charges for each night stay did not show up.

    Really lovely room, love the heated mirror and the crisp white sheets. And I don't like UHT milk, so the lovely porter brought me up some fresh milk without any fuss.

    Good price. Great staff. Great location.

    The noise outside during the whole night was crazy loud. They need to have someone run off the rowdy jerks outside every night. It kept us awake really bad and was extremely annoying.

    Well located, great linen and bathroom fittings, however, plumbing was a bit dodgy.

    got moved last minute from Kensington to Paddington due to "maintenance problems" anyone who works in the leisure industry wikll agree that kensington probably over booked the hotel. Breakfast wasn't great.

    Well equipped room with modern facilities. Convenient location.

    Radiator gurgled and water flowed but no heat - regardless of setting on knob. I liked it cool but I didn't like the noise and pumping cold water round the system is environmentally unfriendly. Sliding windows 'leaked noise' as they were square and the window opening wasn't ! Poor installation. It would have been helpful if the people on reception understood enough English to send a towel (when requested as one missing) instead of a Newspaper.

    "the first room we were allocated was on the forth floor and was very small and was not doubled glazed, just room to walk round the bed, the light fittings was hanging loose from the wall this was dangerous so we were giving a new room on the first floor this was much better, and the rest of our stay was fine."     Though location is very good, it will take you 20 minutes by bus to get to Oxford Street, more if it is a rainy day.

    Was very impressed with the standard of the room. It was very well equiped, very comfortable and very clean. The food I ordered via room service was excellent too.

    "Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, other reviews of this hotel made me wary of staying there, saying room was too small. Room was perfect size and very comfortable. Local amenities very good, loads of restaurants to choose from, several pubs there, plenty of shops and small supermarkets (somerfield, sainsburys) near hand too.     Nice touch by the hotel leaving a box of chocolates in room for girlfriends birthday. Free newspaper every morning. Good air conditioning in room. Excellent tv.

    internet not working in room - apparently some strike with the hotels ISP Breakfast far too expensive, never had any in hotel - went to a pub at the end of the road for 1/3 of the price

    clean and good quality rooms and easy booking process

    too many for this small point..i asked for another night,was told on arrival no problem,come down in the morning and confirm.I asked if possible to do now..gentleman said no,must be morning,no reason given,no eye contact,no thanks you,no reason for ten pound deposit..general sullen demeanour,lack of knowledge and generaly not interested...in the morning room wasnt available,was offered a room at twice the price elsewhere. And told i was lucky i got the price i did for the night i stayed...hence i doubt i will stay with you again,shame really,as the room was nice and i now trevel in europe frequently for catering related work...also the staff didnt seem to be able to give me the name of the male member of staff working that night or were unwilling..and didnt address me particuarly well infront of other guests...all together a poor experience...i feel the managent at this hotel have a lot of work ahead of them....other points on request...

    Clean, tidy, efficient, good exercise facility, helpful staff, central location.

    Breakfast was not included. Most places in the world include breakfast in the night rate. The telephone rate is very high. Should add hotel shuttle buses to the airport.

    Room quality, working order of everything, superb aircon, gym was great though not adequate for more than 2 comfortably but given the size of hotel and number of people that would use a gym in London hotels it's great. Staff most helpful and friendly, this is now my main stay in London whilst on business

    Can't find any. Only thing I can think of is when people read this everyone will flock there and there'd be no room for me.

    The hotel was modern and clean in a good location not far from Earls Court tube station.

    I was put in a separate block to the main hotel - which didn't feel as safe and meant I had to leave my building and walk down the road to use the hotel restaurant and bar. Kettle in room didn't work properly. Towels were of a poor quality.

    Location, area. Staff were friendly and very helpful and personal. Good range of facilities in the room. kettle, microwave, iron, hairdryer. gym for free use excellent.

    microwave didn't work througout my stay even after i let them know. the switches fell off the new lamp, bathplug didn't come out after you put it in, internet which they said was free didn't work so i had to pay 24 pounds to go online separately which put up the price. please would you arrange to refund this to me as it was advertised with free internet. i did complain every day and 3 different leads were brought but none worked. Room was unbelievable small.
