    Staff were very friendly Great leisure facilities and spa

    Room was a bit cold during the day. Room wasn't very sound proof.

    Room excellent. Meal excellent. Staff excellent

    Postcode on the address is incorrect - Take care if just punching in the post code into your sat-nav, you might end up in the next door residential area as we did. A long walk to the room along dark corridors. Could do with additional low level lighting in addition to the movement sensors. Could have done with a little more ambiance in the dinning room.

    "Very Good. Will definitely call again for a stay possibly in summer months. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was a bother. The facilities at the leisure area were first class to suit all agegroups. Bedrooms well equipped too and eloquently presented on arrival. Hotel grounds well maintained to a high standard.     the hotel was very clean and friendly.

    the resturant menu was very small and being a fusy eatter i would not eat of there simple foods would have been ok, however breackfast was lovely with a hugh choice of varietys

    "If I had been made aware of the renovations I would have requseted an upgrade but was led to believe I would have a lovely room. we were disappointed as we don't get away often and this trip was for my 40th birthday it spoilt the weekend somewhat.We did complain but was offered a room still facing the building site and another in the older part of the hotel which was shabby."     fantastic leisure facilities espcially the jacuzzi and pool husband enjoyed the gym room very clean

    I had specifically requsted a garden room, when we arrived we were put in a room facing a building site.

    "This was a business / leisure stay. Pleased with our stay in general. Normally we would dine every evening, but glad we did not commit to dinner, bed and breakfast tariff." (99621120)

    General establishment, room good, health club above average, space.

    Noisy floorboards, some door slamming at all hours of the night, restaurant menu too serious, not inclusive, and quite expensive. Shower poor.

    "Although nice all round a few faults were reported to staff and each time these were ignored. Room was freezing cold. Meals certainly were not worth the price we paid for them. There were no Red Nose Day or St Patrick's day celebrations. The health club's swimming pool was full of kids 90% of the time. This made us feel generally uncomfortable." (99835035)

    "I must confess that I had done some research and knew that the hotel had a good reputation. I use Best Western Hotels regularly and have always found them to be good value for money with a high standard of service. Staff are well trained and food menus are always attractive and appetising. There is a fitness centre and swimming pool adjoining the hotel and the use of these facilities are free." (3304328742)

    The size of our rooms was excellent (sitting room & bedroom) and both meals were very good. The situation of the hotel was quiet and pleasant and the facilities excellent.

    "The Keavil House Hotel was in a lovely location and was very well presented. The rooms were of a good standard with all the usual facilities. Our room had lovely french windows and a door that lead out into a garden. The leisure club was very well equiped and all of the staff in the hotel were very friendly and willing to help. We ate in the restaurant and the food was glorious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone willing to pay that little bit more." (3304294849)

    We loved the french windows in the room, and the access to the garden. We found the staff wonderful and the leisure facilities were great. We would definately stay again.

    "The directions to the hotel were good from the website but from travelling from edinburgh, the first roundabout in Rosyth has the same road running through it and was confusing deciding which road to turn off. The staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay and we had a fantastic time on our break" (3304443212)

    I liked the leisure facilities, the sauna was not functional at the time of our visit. It was dissapointing but understandable. The room was brilliant and the patio doors in the room were fantastic allowing a bright morning!

    The room was either very warm or cold, perhaps this was due to the patio doors? perhaps a better controlled heating system in the room but this was a minor thing

    "Modest, low-key entrance belies a hidden gem, within minutes of park & ride rail link to Edinburgh. Friendly & attentive staff. Economy winter warmer turned out to be lovely room with four poster. A la carte dinners were impressive, with excellent local produce - venison & steak outstanding. Wine list was satisfactory , with a particularly impressive selection of bin ends. Fine leisure centre for those wishing to work it off." (3304008281)

    Spotless, smoke-free, silent, surprise (four-poster).

    Parking for hotel guests should be given priority over parking for staff & leisure club users. Ample space, but could be better organised. First impression was having to struggle through heavy rain with lots of luggage on arrival.... The dining room lacked warmth & ambience, though staff & food were splendid. The decor could be improved.....

    Clean and efficient. Lovely setting. Very nice staff. We did get the quiet room we asked for.

    Chlorine level in pool caused an irritation of my skin but perhaps this was because it was an early swim. Chlorine overnight?

    i had a large room with a four poster bed, unusual for a single occupant but very welcome

    Shower, extremely hot or cold, terrible, you need to turn the thermostat down. Need biscuits with tea/coffee

    "The stay was very pleasing. Accomodation fine for a short break. For a longer stay I would have preferred a larger room. However the setting of the hotel and the outlook from the room, could not be improved upon. The staff were polite and helpful, and endeavoured to fulfil any request.     The ground floor rooms have french windows opening directly onto lovely lawns and rose beds. The food was excellent.

    On busier evenings, the service was a little slow during dinner. I had to request that the shower curtain was replaced, as it smelt strongly of mould.
