    Quiet room in generally fair order although furnishings were worn. Pool useful for exercise and available 8am -8pm. Breakfast buffet allowed good choice.

    Dining room prices for evening meal were high and not good value. [Nowhere available locally to eat except 1 fast food outlet]

    Hotel was convenient with sufficient parking and close enough to the city centre. Staff were polite and the room was presented to a high standard and this was delivered again on the second day (2 night stay)

    Lacked easy access to upper flooras(no step free acess) and all areas of the hotel outside the bar and dining room were very hot. Lacked air com. The comunal toilets although clean smelt and were unplesent. Those next to the bar

    "Superb...Ramada Norwich" (107695331)

    The staff at the hotel in Norwich were wonderful in particular Becky on reception who even helped me to my room by carrying luggage. The reception I got was wonderfully welcoming & all the staff were very pleasant & helpful. Dinner was delicious & reasonably priced, waiting staff were excellant. All in all it was the best hotel I have stayed at in a long while. I normally stay in Hiltons but will definatley aim for Ramada Inn's where possible. A huge thanks to all the staff for making a weary traveller feel at home & comfortable.

    If I could make one criticism it would be that the bed did not have a mattress topper & was slightly too hard for my back, but to be honest even this wouldn't put me off staying at your hotels I would rather a hard bed & a warm welcome than the other way around....

    Clean and tidy, with bight and spacious public areas. Friendly staff

    Expensive resturant when compared to local facilities within 100yards.Lack of lift to upper floors and smokers to close to entrance(had to walk through a group from some meeting to reach car park).

    "Not what we expected from a Ramada hotel. I have used American Ramada hotels and received a better quality of service and a more enjoyable stay. Also, My wife has stayed at this hotel in the past (prior to it's ownership by Ramada) and was dissapointed that the hotel had slipped so much on this visit." (97910418)

    Breakfast was excellent and times were flexed due to a number of guests needing to leave earlier on the Saturday and Sunday. All Facilities were of a high quality and generally clean and tidy.

    Room was too small to fit two adults and a cot. Despite three calls prior to arrival the cot was not available in the room on arrival. Television failed to work on arrival and the staff were unable to fix it. I ended up fixing the television myself! The shower curtain was stained and smelly.

    Liked the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and departure.

    The room did not have any air con, so was very hot during the night when sleeping, and therefore very uncomfortable. The gym was small and cramped and the bar area was very dark with no atmosphere.

    "Being on business I needed to make an early start unfortunately I never received my early morning call; when I mentioned this to the receptionist she insisted the call had been made, unbeknown to her I had set my own personal alarm therfore I knew for certain there had been no call from reception. It's a pity she didn't simply apologise instead we entered into a disagreement. Not a great experience and not one I'm in any hurry to repeat." (97888864)

    "Its the first time I've stayed at a Ramada. I booked two rooms, one single, one double. Given the pricing policy, I will stay at other hotel chains from now on, although I cannot fault the hotel itself." (97140204)

    Hotel itself was well equipped, and staff were friendly and efficient.

    B+B for a single is the same price as a B+B for a double with no discount even for only one breakfast. Usually a single supplement is payable, but not to that extent.

    After requesting an upgrade I got a (marginally) improved room

    low standard of furnitue /bedding /carpet/everything - felt and looked like a (poor) travel lodge

    "The restaurant menu stated pork steak and I was served a pork chop. The staff were friendly and receptive, we stay at a lot of hotels quietly enjoying the ambience, we don't moan and unless invited to as in this case, rarely comment on the service or standards.     clean, bed was comfortable, lots of towels, shower was very good, quiet hotel, warm room, good blackout curtains, tv was a bit slow to react to the control.

    no signs on ladies/mens changing rooms in sports complex, we saw lady going into the mens, steam room was out of order, sauna was a bit small and no water bucket, shower gel/shampoo containers empty in mens and womens showers.

    "A large hotel with excellent facilities. Staff were friendly when spoken to but melted into the background otherwise (as all good service providers should, but rarely do ) Breakfast served on hot plates and the platters (buffet) replenished as soon as needed.The food was of restaurant standard, fresh fruit, cereals and cooked.     We asked to move rooms we started in room 63 to room 28 all your rooms should be of this standard

    our first room 63 stank of damp washing and overlooked the noisey kitchens the curtains and the windows were filthy not like the marriot hotel chain

    "The Hotel was warm and friendly and had an inviting feel to it, the room itself was clean and spacious with only my Mum and Myself staying we had a choice of beds in our room with a double and 2 singles! The food at the hotel was ok not as nice as i would have expected! although breakfast was lovely with a good selection of cereals,juices,pastries,fruit,and the more traditional full english the breakfast staff were friendly and chatty which was lovely, The Bar had a nice relaxing feel and was very comfortable with happy friendly staff! The pool and spa were heaven clean,relaxing,with only us in for a long while, Would definatley stay there again although i think for an evening meal i would eat elsewhere!" (99095741)

    Service personel very good & room nice.

    Poor internet connections, hotel can not change currency or handle out going mail. Charges for internet & TV extremely high so I didn't use either.

    The room. Very comfortable.

    The location (on an industrial estate) and the performance of the staff. My restaurant booking got lost somehow on the first night as did my request for express checkout. Checking out itself took ages even though there were only two people in front of me and my bill listed things I hadn't had. The radiator in my room was faulty springing into life late one night when it was actually turned off. Finally, the internet connection didn't work.

    Excellent facilities. Spacious. I liked the idea of the fridge and tea making facilities. The staff were very helpful indeed.

    No lift. I would also have liked a face towel in the bathroom. I didn't remember to ask before going into the bath so no blames to the hotel on that.

    I stay in this hotel about three or four times a year.The food is good and the rooms are usually clean and comfortable.

    I booked a non smoking room but was given a smoking room which was very unpleasant.I was able to move to a non smoking room on the 2nd night

    The bathroom had no extractor fan which left it very steamy after showering, and if you left the door open the room smelt damp.

    "The radiator in my room was cold, and after two phone calls the duty manager eventually brought along an electric fan heater, and informed me that the boiler had broken so there was no hot water or heating. As I wanted a nice hot bath that evening I was very disappointed. However, all the staff were very courteous and apologetic. Everything was working the following morning. The bar was a bit smoky and I didn't like the multiple oversize TV screens, which I found a bit intrusive. Restaurant a bit claustrophobic, no natural light. Room was a double as requested. I am glad it was just me because it was very small. Bathroom needs refurbishing. I would however stay there again as it was quite good value and the atmosphere was welcoming." (99024465)

    Clean and funtional.

    The Hotel needs to upgarde it's facilities to modernise its look and replace a slightly dated 'seedy' environment. Also being in an industrial estate did not help.

    Friendly Staff

    Felt the lighting in the room was poor for any serious reading /work. Dining room staff obviously used to coaches parties and trying to get folk out again. Service was very rushed and one member of staff a bit sloppy in approach in comparison to the others. Bar stff not over welcoming so did not bother to go back for a drink after dinner

    "Despite a booking confirmation before we left, when we arrived (2 couples) we were shown to twin bedded rooms which I had specifically asked NOT to have. I was told, thats all there is available. If I had been told this at the time of booking I would have gone elsewhere. Both couples were given twin bedded rooms when doubles were booked.
