    easy to find; easy to book; very friendly hosts; plenty of parking; clean and neat; good breakfast

    quite close to busy A road, so some background traffic noise when windows open; for me, bed too soft and duvet too heavy (a sheet or lighter duvet option would have been good) - but this a matter of personal preference

    We enjoyed two nice, basic rooms and a lovely English breakfast. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

    To get twin beds our rooms had to share a VERY small bath down the hall.

    "As above this B&B is cosy and comfortable and very clean. Lots of extra little details in the decor. It has a homely and welcoming atmosphere and the hostess is most helpful and friendly. It reminded me of going back in time where the little exta things are important. This is a much more pleasant place to stay than the usual chain hotels which don't have any character. We will definitely be returning when possible." (2963365)

    The accomodation was cosy, clean and comfortable. The hostess could not do enough for as and made us most welcome, helping with our evening arrangments and recomending good places to eat. The garden was fantastic with a large trampoline enjoyed by our 14 year old!

    "Good place to stay. The only negative remark is that our room was on the 1st floor while the bathrooms were on the groundfloor. It could have been a little bit embarrassing to go to the bathroom in pyjama and to meet another visitor. (we did not have brought with us a bathing wrap)." (3304354075)

    "We had a last minute problem regarding our dog (Yorkshire Terrier)minder. Telephone call to Woodacre,do you allow dogs? Yes! problem solved. We were given a ground floor room with patio doors opening out on to garden so that we could let the dog out into the garden!!!!" (1591183)
