    Lovely location, it's easy to get to, convenient for Minehead, Dunster, Watchet & Exmoor. Blue Anchor station on the West Somerset railway is about 100m away, so no more than 2 mins walk. A sandy & safe beach is about 125m away, just the other side of the level crossing.

    Bad points? Well other than this lovely place is getting harder & harder to get into because the hosts have got it right & it's very popular & if you stay there, you'll soon find out why!

    Superb hosts, you're made to feel welcome as soon as you set foot in the door. Nice views of Blue Anchor Bay towards Minehead & Welsh coastline.

    Very warm welcome, with lots of nice touches - lovely china, a proper teapot in the rooms + fresh milk, tissues, even cotton wool pads. Excellent breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.

    "The hotel is superbly situated and well run. We were made most welcome in beautifully clean, comfortable surroundings. The food was excellent.     Hard to think of anything. Possibly more comfortable chairs in the bedroom but this is a minor point as the residents lounge was very welcoming.

    the rooms were a lovely size with everything that you would require in them. the owners are a lovely couple who ensure that you enjoy your stay and are happy, they also gave us good hints about where to eat etc.

    "We stayed only one night, as planned, for we were touring the west of England. This was the first night of our holiday, and we could not have asked for a better place to begin the holiday. It served our purpose well, and we were able to obtain a good evening meal in a local restaurant recommended by the Langbury." (99969555)

    On arrival, we were very warmly welcomed by Paula, who provided much information about the facilities and the location. Both she and her husband Nigel were friendly and excellent hosts. The room and bed were very comfortable and all the equipment functioned as it should. Our room had a view over the garden, with the sea in the distance.

    No complaints at all.

The owners have managed to get the balance perfect between being very friendly and not intrusive ... greated with fresh tea/coffee, biscuits and flapjack in the lounge was wonderful .. fantastic choice for breakfast in a delightful dining room - nothing was too much trouble and we can't recommend this enough - just a shame we were only there for one night."     "On arrival we were greated with a cheerio hello and a bright smile and invited into the lounge and offered tea and biscuits which we duly accepted. What a briliant welcome. Breakfast was definately worth getting out of bed for. Every morning there was various fruit juices, fruit and various cereals followed by an excellent cooked selection which on all four mornings of our visit was cooked to perfection." (99747088)
