    The staff at the hotel were excellent considering their young age, although we were informed it was a family run hotel.

    we all enjoyed our time at the hotel and the staff were very pleasant, also the hotel was clean and tidy

    only one thing the shower in our room seemed to lack pressure and temperature control

    "Hotel was Ok, but stayed in better. Places like Premier Inn offer better facilities, service and value for money. stayed in this one as needed to be close to a function at a nearby hotel." (107630526)

    Was allowed into the room early to change for the wedding. Hotel was clean, tidy, had TV in the room and a hairdryer :) was able to gain access to the hotel at 2am with keys provided as standard.

    Woken early by a loud generator style of noise, may not have been hotel specific though. Breakfast room was unmanned, unclear as to where to sit & how to order. Milk used for cereal tasted off. Seemed to be a lack of staff around to assist.

    Clean modern room on the sea front

    lack of staff who had to multi task, chef rang in sick for 2 of the three days that we were there.We were not given a regular table for breakfast unlike the other guests.The prices in the bar were expensive

    Easy to park. Very welcoming staff. Dinner was very nice and good value for money. Breakfast was also excellent. Waiting staff very friendly and helpful. I often stay at a B and B but struggle to find somewhere I can get a decent meal but dont have to worry about that here. Hotel very clean and well decorated. Room was nicely decorated, quite small but perfectly big enough for the stay. Bigger telly with dvd player would be a bonus but thats just me being fussy.

    "Nice, clean hotel. The room was beautiful and more than adequate for our stay. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but as we were only there for one night it was perfectly acceptable. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very good and there was plenty of choice. A very good hotel and enjoyable stay." (108026616)

    location Good. Staff helpful and friendly.

    No decent provision for smokers. Sad to see old folks out in the rain for a Ciggy..over one third of the population smoke.we are ignored. Shoe box for a room. TV old fashioned and poor signal. Breakfast period far too short at 8:15 - 9:00 Does everyone want to get up early on holiday?.we do that all year round !Towels not changed in the four days which we were there.

    "Hotel was clean and the rooms are being modernised so by summer it will be better, wait till then to go unless you like green bathroom suites. On arrvial they knew nothing of our booking but more than made up for this by showing us 5 rooms to choose from for our stay. All rooms are very small in my opinion and this is a shame. The beds as are a double size just, would be better kingsize if only they had the room. Staff all freindly, lots of parking." (97110721)

    excellent value for money. everything was clean and tidy and staff were very welcoming and friendly.

    Friendly & very helpful staff. Room had all the facilities I would expect to find. Parking. Close to beach.

    No staff available during the night to complain to when the guests in the room below came in at 4.30am and continued to party until breakfast time.

    "We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk and book us in, the desk was never covered we had to look for someone when we found out the shower did'nt work they said everyones was the same but it was'nt we had to go to 2 diffrent rooms for a shower and 1 shower you could hardly fit into and we and not on the large side. We would like to have know that they had a wedding reception in the evening down stairs which was right under our room you could'nt here yourself think and there was an old man walking round so drunk he did'nt know where he was. We ended up booking out at 11pm and driving home very disapointed. Never again." (99850192)

    "Helpful staff, Clean room, nice views, able to use facilities at all times with no problems. Would like to have had breakfast a bit later as bit early finishing for me!!!!" (99266766)

    room was clean, got the sea view that we asked for. Staff were very helpful ordered us cabs were very approachable and told where to go in the area for a good night out.

    Breakfast stopped serving a little too early on a sunday would have been nice if it carries on till 10 for those who dont rise as early.

    The staff at the hotel were brilliant. The reason for my vist was to attend my fathers funeral and the staff were very understanding and supportive.

    I can honestly say there was nothing I disliked about the hotel.

    The hotel was located in excellent place and very easy to find. We even took some lovely photographs for Sun rise. Normally, it took us lots of time for site hunting, waiting, etc. However, we could take photos even from our room as it was a sea front room.

    Now much to complain but the double bed in the room #6 (Double room) needs replacement. However, apart from this, it was very nice room.

    "Overall a really pleasant stay and would love to book this hotel again. We visit Great yarmouth quite a few times a year visiting relatives but will not be staying at the Kensington again unless we can be assured of a good quality bed and a therefore decent nights sleep ." (3304457913)

    Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant restaurat, lounge and bar. TV had good reception, not always the case in hotels.

    The bed in our room was really bad. You do not expect the quality of your own bed at home but it was really, really soft and lumpy. Obviously a very old matress.

    "We would rate the hotel as a good quality B & B. The room was small, there was no towel rail or wash basin in loo/shower room. We were given plastic tooth mugs and only one bedside lamp and no telephone connection to the bedroom. Wardrobe full of discarded plastic hangers. Two upright chairs were not exactly comfortable. Bar was good and staff friendly, but they could not initially supply a map of the area which would have been helpful. Paper napkins were inferior quality. Christmas decorations were put up before we left - 2 months before Christmas!!" (2894912)

    Clean and friendly but more a seaside B & B than an hotel.

    Glass beakers in bedroom. Good quality napkins. They should make arrangements to find out if clients want an evening meal before they go out for the day. We wanted one on Day 2 but dining room was closed. More drawers and proper clothes, hangers.

    "I would have liked to have known that the bar shut early, most hotels with bars tend to serve drinks past the usual licencing law.Apart from this the hotel was very good and highly recommended for the price. Breakfast was excellent and overall was a very pleasant stay." (1912287)
