    "Overall a good pleasant experience" (108334098)

    Friendly staff, home cooked food, nearness to beach and facilities

    Evening meal should be booked at breakfast which can't be done on day of arrival which meant a search for alternatives.

    Very small room, very different from the pictures in the website. Minuscule toilet with carpet! Shower didn't work properly. Poor and old furniture.

    very clean, friendly staff overall nice hotel.

    nice double room with sea view, small bathroom but adequate, however new shower systems would be a huge plus as quite old.

    "Courteous, comfortable & cost effective!" (107982822)

    Friendly & welcoming staff, efficient & courteous service (although hotel was quiet, so not many customers to serve!..)served breakfast early for us + another group.

    No evening meal available, as we had arrived at 19:30 - which turned out to be too late to cook (seems you need to order evening meal at breakfast) - but staff happy to advise on local restaurants / takeaway!..

    "OK IF ON BUSINESS OR PASSING THROUGH, WOULDN'T USE AGAIN FOR LIESURE." (97523577)

    FRIENDLY STAFF, MENUE COMPRISED OF LOCAL PRODUCE WHICH WAS GOOD.

    COULDN'T REALLY TELL BETWEEN CERTAIN MEMBERS OF STAFF AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC. ONLY SAW 1 RECEPTIONIST WEARING UNIFORM. THOUGHT THAT £60 A NIGHT WAS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THIS HOTEL. NOTICED THAT HIGHER QUALITY HOTELS CHARGING SAME PRICE, IF NOT SLIGHTLY LESS.

    "This was a weekend away for our 1st anniversary which turned out to be a disaster! We left the following morning & cut our break short! We didn't even get asked why we was leaving early & i could'nt be bothered to omplain as the staff were going on a charity scooter ride. £100 wasted!!!!" (107773126)

    staff were friendly on arrival.

    bedroom overlooked a playing field & not the sea as stated,it was small the ensuite was next to the bed,the sink only had cold running water & the shower was luke warm. there was 2 big dogs roaming around the hotel & dog hairs absolutely everywhere! could ot find staff to complain as they were too busy with their friends organising a charity night.

    The food was lovely and staff were very friendly and helpful.

    There was a sticker on the tiles in the bathroom that said if towels were left in in the shower they needed changing, if they were still on the heated towel the didn't get changed. We left them in the shower and they weren't changed. This was my only moan.

    Good location - within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Good standard of accommodation, and the breakfast was very satisfactory.

    Some members of staff could have had a more friendlier and enthusiastic approach towards guests.

    "The room was like a rabbit hutch. The mattress was like sleeping on rocks. The ensuite shower/toilet was not large enough to get dried in. The first room we were shown had no drawer space and nowhere to put our suitcases." (97963129)

    We only asked for our room to be turned down once during our stay as we got a stain on the sheet, but when we returned later that day, none of the bedding had been changed!! We also had a couple of bad experiences in the lounge/bar area, the worst of which was when we entered the room - passing the owner on duty - sat down and proceeded to wait half an hour before we physically went to find him to ask if we could have some food, only to be told 'he didn't do the cooking' and there was no food today!! No signs to indicate no food or times of service, no apology. In the end he did it but it was like a real effort, and then when we asked for drinks to accompany the meal, it was as though we had asked for his blood!! Every time we went in the bar we were not attended to so if you are staying there, just go straight out.

    The cleanlinest of all aspects of the hotel and the warm welcome we were given.We found all the staff to be vety friendly and really enjoyed our short stay.There is a good chance of us paying a return visit.

    "The hotel has sea views and the road was relatively quiet (in December). The faulty, unuseable, shower and dead batteries in the tv remote, I believe, would have been readily rectified by the willing staff, but were discovered too late in our one night stay for us to benefit.     Clean. Sufficient for our needs. Comfortable bed. View.Bar facilities. Heating available.

    Shower was weak.Breakfast times were too early so wasted money by not having breakfast (3 days worth x 2). Like to have a lie in as this is not a luxury we have very often.
