    Hotel was clean, facilities good, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the hotel internet wireless connection was very useful.

    The ensuit shower was too small to be of practical use.

    Hotel positioned well in a quiet area of Shanklin and within easy walking distance of the town centre and seafront. Excellent range of local restaurants offering good quality food at reasonable prices to suit all tastes.

    We found that the hotel was quiet, spotlessly clean, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were extremely polite and helpful in making our stay very enjoyable.

    We are unable to fault the hotel or the staff.

    Not only are the bedrooms spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped, but it?s the little things that you remember and tell friends about. Like the luxurious white towels (changed twice a week), the little teabag tin filled and jug of fresh milk placed in the little fridge daily. All the staff are most helpful & friendly, if they had offered evening meals, I would have probably not gone out at all.

    "Apart from the size of the room the stay was good. However I did have a very large sports bag which didn't help. Staff polite and very helpful. Offered to take my heavy sports bag upstairs with no problem. Breakfast ample. Wonderful idea to give guests detail street map which made exploring a doddle.     "It was a pleasant surprise to have seaviews and such comfortable beds. Good selection of teas and coffee's etc in our room. So we had more than we thought when booking a 4 star hotel. Would definately recommend this hotel to other who visit the IOW." (97900962)

    It was very clean and comfortable. Excellant selection of food for breakfast and staff were very polite.

    My Father in law is now 80 and had a few problems with the stairs but was offered a ground floor bedroom as an alternative.

    "The Hotel was very comfortable and well situated, close to shops etc. I was expecting problems with the hot water showers, pressure etc looking at comments from others but everything was working well. The staff were very helpful and especially Sue (the owner) who went around peoples tables etc expressing a keen interest in what we had seen and still to see in the time we were there. Sue was also very helpful and pointing what lovely places we might have missed without her knowledge. Thank you for a lovely time, we hope to be back soon." (99087451)

    "The Kenbury exceeded our expectations. Adrian and Sue who own the hotel were very accommodating and nice, pleasant people. The information on their web site allowed us to find it with no trouble at all. The Kenbury was ideally situated for our needs, reasonably close to the seafront and shops but located in a peaceful area of Shanklin. We will most certainly be staying with Adrian and Sue at the Kenbury again. It made a potentially good weekend, exceptional!" (99802874)

    Sky TV would have been nice but it is understandable not to have it.

    "For the price paid, we could not fault it. If it was dearer, perhaps a slightly bigger room, although the bathroom was excellent. There was always plenty of tea and coffee available. It was in a quiet residential area, which suited us and was well placed for visits to family and friends. It compared very favourably with one nearer the front, where relatives staying, stated it would be The Kenbury for them next year!" (99630053)

    "I would recommend this hotel to anyone visting this part of the Isle of Wight. The owner gave us a very friendly welcome and we had a well appointed family room with a view to the sea (in the distance). It was a little way from the beach and old town so might not be ideal if not travelling by car - although it was very near the station. Our shower didn't work properly (due to low cold water pressure I think) but otherwise the facilities were good. As the room was priced per head we found it a bit pricey as a family of three, but this appeared to be the going rate." (99050243)

    "Friendly B&B 5min walk from shops and 10min walk from tourist area of old town. Rooms adequately seviced daily. Bedroom a little tight with en-suit toilet and shower. Washbasin was in bedroom. Twin beds were creaky but fairly comfortable. Typical English breakfast plus choice of cerial, fruit and kippers. Parking available for 4/5 cars without being boxed in. On-road parking is possible.     The staff we very friendly and happy to help. The rooms were small but were clean and quite comfortable for a short stay.

    The water pressure in the shower was very poor and it was very difficult to find a comfortable temperature. No shower gel etc provided.

    "We went for a long weekend, Friday to Monday just for a relaxing break. The hotel is ideally situated to both the beach and the town, and is only a 5 min walk from the train station.
