    generally excellent, everything you would expect from a De Vere Hotel and I shall be recommending the hotel to my clients who travel to and from the UK for business.

    The only complaint was of the standard of the food delivered for room service, the side orders of fries were under cooked and did not come with enough sauces, even the second lot that were delivered as a replacement were of inferior quality. This is not something that I would normally raise as an issue but when you are spending a romantic evening with your fiance and the price is so high, (£10.20 for a sandwich and fries) I feel it justified. This was the only thing to fault and unfortunatly left us both feeling slightly unsatisfied regarding the evening together.

    Leisure pool, standard of food for Dinner

    Beauty Salon - one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was the fact there wasa beauty salon attached, but we were not ablet o get a free appointment for either of the days we were staying

    A very clean, comfortable and well-appointed room. V. Comfortable bed. The hotel is well positioned for us visiting Swindon.

    When we arrived at reception, they seemed to have no knowledge of our booking. I had taken a print-out of my emailed receipt and it was all sorted reasonably quickly .. but I was surprised.

    Restuarant food is amazing wanted to eat more but just could not fit it in !

    The gym was not attended by a member of staff whilst we were using the weights for the whole 45 mins! which is unheard of back home in any of the gyms we use. We have been using this hotel for a number of years now and even though the rooms are nice the deco could do with being updated as found some old photos from 1996 and the rooms are still the same.!!!!

    Thought the Brunch was very good.

    I booked this because of the 5pm checkout. I was disturbed by a Phone call and a knock on the door, both to ask what time we would be checking out. Considering the booking I was not happy about this. Also the room had a real lack of working bulbs.

    reception staff very friendly and upgraded us to a better room. Clean and well equipped room and very nice breakfast in our room. Will stay again!

    shower in bathroom was set on a temperature which was a bit too hot for me - didn't seem able to adjust it. But a lovely good sized bathroom with good quality towels.

    The standard of the hotel was excellent

    However, there was loud rock music playing at 3-4am from the room underneath mine and this kept us awake. As a result we overslept and missed the breakfast which should have been part of our stay. We were offered a cup of tea and toast in the bar as a result of this.

    "As always a ver high standard of hotel. The room we were in was a little dark and stuffy and probably in need of a refurbishment. Great value for money, excellent staff and a superb breakfast to end it all!" (97161183)

    "We have used this hotel many times, so it obviously pleases. It is conveniently situated off Junction 16 of M4. Excellent buffet breakfasts are provided. Our only other dining experience during this stay was on a Sunday evening, when the main fare was a (perfectly adequate) carvery. The staff are very pleasant." (97988981)

    Extremely clean and spacous, staff were helpful & friendly, room clean and well stocked for beverages

    "If we had known there was no air-conditioning in the bedrooms we would have not booked. It was hot and stuffy and we didn't sleep very well even with the windows open. The fixed heat from the bathroom didn't help. The tables and chairs in the breakfast area were dirty." (3305205804)

    It is in a very convenient area of Swindon

    We arrived in the rain and nobody helped us in with the luggage from the car at the entrance to the hotel they just watched us struggle! then they just gave us our room key and pointed us in the right direction which was on the secondfloor.They were not interested in public service at all.

    "Parents loved it and have insisted that I book De Vere for them whenever they stay with us. Staff all helpful, friendly and conscientious. Hotel decor lovely - think it has not long been refurbished. Food of a very high quality, good range and good size portions. In my opinion, only thing that lets it down is location - on Shaw Ridge Leisure Park - effectively surroounded by cinema, bowling alley, Link centre and car parks." (3305204383)

    "We enjoyed a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient both at Reception and in the Breakfast hall. Having a nightclub, ten-pin bowling and cinema within throwing distance is very nice. Might be worth mentioning this on your website - if it already isn't!" (3305198749)

    The entrance is literally at the Pizza Hut roundabout.. we missed it the first time.
