    "DREADFUL, COST OF THE ROOM WAS BOOKED FOR £150 FOR A TWIN ROOM FOR 2 ADULTS. WHICH WAS ALREADY TOO MUCH. ARRIVED FOR A DAY AT THE RACES IN NEWCASTLE WITH MY BROTHER LADY AT RECEPTION SAID FINE TO CHECK IN LATER AS WE WERE EARLY. ARRIVED BACK AT HOTEL AT 12.30AM AND THE NIGHT PORTER ADVISED US THE TWIN ROOM WAS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE, AND ONLY A DOUBLE LEFT AND IT WAS TOUGH!! WE COULD SLEEP IN THE CAR IF WE WANT! THEN THE BILL WAS RAISED TO £160 AS MY BROTHER WAS WITH ME IT SEEMED WHICH WAS INFURIATING BUT AS WE WERE TIRED WE ACCEPT IT!!! ROOM WAS VERY HOT DOUBLE BED NOT IDEAL WITH MY BROTHER. THEN FOR THAT PRICE WE FOUND IN THE MORNING THAT BREAKFAST WASNT INCLUDED. SHOCKING! LONDON PRICES FOR A POOR HOTEL. SORRY I FEEL LET DOWN" (108719245)

    Friendliness, convenience, good food.

    Bar very expensive. Rooms and bar beginning to look a little tired. We stayed at the same hotel around 16 months ago and we can see that things are beginning to deteriorate.

    Good location right next to airport. Friendly staff

    Rooms in need of modernisation and upgrading. Ticket did not work to leave carpark on return journey home at 03.30.

    able to book a room at a reasonable cost; open 24 hours; didn't matter how late I got in from my flight because a room was still available

    I do not consider this to be a bad point but I was a little concerned that I might not get a non-smoking room on one occasion.I know that it says that requests may not be honoured on the website but I am surprised that hotel rooms still accommodate smokers.

    "An excellent location right next to Newcastle airport made it ideal for me as I was getting the first flight out in the morning! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. There was a Christmas party going on however as the party room was on the opposite half of the hotel to the accommodation, I never heard a single noise!     Excellent location right next to Newcastle Airport. Very friendly staff. Quiet rooms. Clean.

    The only bad point was that the TV remote did not work. I wasn't too worried!

    Access to the Newcastle Airport

    The desk staff did not have an emergency flashlight. I had dropped my phone outside and needed a flash light to find it in the dark/bushes and the staff could not find a flashlight anywhere. this was a concern for me as I thought about in a case of an emergency? Thank you.

    Payment taken over 2 months prior to stay. Most hotels I have stayed at previously don not take payment until the day you arrive.

    Bathroom. No extractor fan working. A lot of mold has formed. Not ideal for anyone like myself with respiratory problems

    Room was small but clean.

    Room was hot and this was winter. No ventilation and I would definitely not want to stay there in the summer.Check in staff were grumpy in the extreme, was kept waiting while she took telephone calls and did not apologize for the delay.

    "It was a short stay and I was unable to sleep due to the various and continuous noises. However, the room was clean and well organised and as I have mentioned, the vicinty to the airport was ideal. I would not choose to stay at the hotel for a relaxing break, due to the noise, but If I need to use Newcastle airport again, I would consider using quieter accomodation" (97344941)

    It is ideally located for the airport, it was non smoking

    The rooms were noisy, you could plainly hear nieghboring occupants, also there seemed to be a lot of loud banging of doors as occupants moved about the hotel

    "The food is very poor,breakfast was dried up by 09.00hrs.     "The restaurant was awful for a Saturday night .There were a large number of guests but the only food was the carvery with no choice other than fish or roast ,this was adinner school not a restaurant .We would have paid more for a decent meal .The staff were unused to even pouring wine ,no opportunity to taste poured a huge glass full immediately .we had to choose 3 wines before they could find one they had in stock ."     Locality to the Airport.

    The fact that you had to book a time for the retaurant which was 1.5 hours after my arrival at 6.30pm when I was already tired and hungry. Added to this it was a further 40-45 minutes before I received my meal which was incomplete (the drink I ordered was not supplied).
