    "The hotel was very comfortable and reasonably priced, its location was very good for access to the port(Dover) and Eurotunnel (Folkestone). The amount of stairs proved abit of a problem especially as I had a large case and had to carry it up steps to the front door then again up and around more stairs to get to my room, with hindsight an overnight bag would have been far more suitable for the space available. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated,but having a large case and trying to get in and out of my room proved quite an experience. The continental breakfast is more than adequate and the owners are nice friendly people. All in all a nice place to stay." (1679153)

    Hotel is perfectly situated across the road from the train station.

    There are alot of steps to get up to the front door of the hotel and then more steep stairs to get up again in order to reach your room.

    It was very near the railway station ( since we were travelling by train ).

    "We arrived very late due to a hold-up on the A20 that meant we were sitting in a line of stationary trucks for 1.5 hours. When we arrived at the guesthouse at 12:30am no mention was made of the lateness of our arrival. At breakfast the following morning the host was very helpful about finding our way to the ferry terminal to avoid an accident in the town and generally made us feel very welcome." (1705803)

    Comfortable and clean and all we needed in the room. Decor quite tasteful.

    There was a slight unfinished feel about the place and the room was very compact.

    "Steep steps for access (I am dissabled and found this difficult), They were also slippery. Also that there were no alternatives for breakfast times or offer of sandwich as remembering this is in a Ferry port and a lot of people like myself wish to catch an early ferry." (1786954)

    Excellent petit déjeuner et emplacement face à la gare de Douvres. Personnel très sympathique.

    Il faisait un peu froid et les trois premières chaînes de télévision déréglées.

    "I needed a phone contact that would allow me to phone ahead re my arrival time and to request an additional night's stay. However, the phone number only gave me advice about booking online. Without ready access to the internet while travelling I ended up making alternative arrangements for the extra night. Other than this the accommodation was fine and the proprietors were helpful."     "Hotel was choosen because all accommodation was non-smoking. Decor could do with updating, rooms are a bit musty and dark. Good location, close to town centre & station. Charging an extra £3 for a cooked breakfast was a bit of a cheek as I'd already paid costs for Bed & Breakfast!! First time ever staying in a B&B that I've been asked to pay extra for cooked breakfast! Owner very friendly. If you want a chatty host and like a smopke-free environment stay here - but go to a local cafe for your breakfast!!" (1344404)

    The couple that ran the b&b could not have been nicer and more willing to help. They helped us with our luggage, directions, everything. I felt welcome and comfortable. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed (but a phone). It was also well situated not far from town and very close to the train station.

    Really for the price, everything was great!

    "Excellent location for the ferries and town centre. Perfect for our needs. Room was ideal for two friends travelling together. Very efficient shower. Easy to find - the only on-street parking in the vicinity is right outside. Unable to provide the room for a second night but transferred us next door where the service was just as good despite many stairs to the top floor." (1475768)

    "This B&B was very close to the train station. My friend and I traveled by train so this was important to us. Most sites in Dover are within walking distance. Breakfast was not included in the room rate so we had the option of eating out on the two out of three mornings that we needed to get an early start. The owner was informative and had many brochures and coupons for the area. Dover shops and restaurants close about 6:00 p.m. so having a better TV would have been nice in the evening." (1492720)

    Close to town and to ferry docks.

    Very narrow bathroom. Could not brighten picture on TV, therefore, it was difficult to see programs.
