    Clean, comfortable room, excellent english breakfast, pleasant and friendly staff.

    Hotel looking a little 'tired' in places - worn, threadbare carpet repaired with duct tape etc. Could do with a lick of paint in places.

    "Grateful for the attention and assistance. Very happy and relieved to have the room we did. However as we only ever have continental breakfast, the standard of what was offered was really very poor compared to even some of the B&Bs where we have stayed." (107927055)

    The guy at reception when we checked in was very helpful. We needed a downstairs room so we could take our bags in to repack them as we were flying out next day back to Aust. We were grateful for his assistance in getting us a downstairs room. It was spacious and comfortable, and a lovely big bathroom with plenty of room to put our toiletries.

    The tap that turned on the shower was VERY VERY stiff. I have arthritic hands, and I found it very hard to turn on and off. Even when my husband turned it off as hard as he could, the shower still dribbled all night. Not enough variety for a continental breakfast - only weetabix and chocolate rice bubbles for cereal, and only large slices of fruit. No yoghurt.

    Every thing in the room was clean, the staff were friendly,

    Even though staff were friendly most of them seemed to have difficulty in totally understanding English. The service at meals seemed a little slow but it was acceptable. Floor boards on the upper floors extremely creaky

    Close to venue. Bar and restaurant were OK.

    Food missing from items on menu, substitutes were made but this was kind of OK as I'm not too fussed.

    Close to travel links. Adequate breakfast. Pleasant breakfast staff.

    Room not available on arrival - Took over an hour from the permitted book-in time. Floorboards were extremely squeeky. Sullen bar staff. General confusion at Reception.

    "Disappointed with the room - the staff made it a pleasant stay." (108910229)

    Friendly and helpful staff. Main areas of hotel were clean and welcoming.

    Room was tired and desperately in need of refurbishment. The carpet was worn - threadbear in places and badly stained. The decor of the room was very poor and was in need of a coat of paint. The curtains were old and tired and dirty. However, the bed linen was whiter than white - and the bathroom was adequate. Overall however I was very disappointed.

    Clean, polite staff, who were able to give proper information about directions etc when asked.

    The facilities while clean, are obviously worn. Perhaps it may be time to replace the carpets, and the bath facilites. I had trouble turning off the shower, which mean using more water than I wanted or needed. And there was apparently a leak from one of the room. At least twice during my stay, some one from the restuarant called to ask if I had any water running. Also the room walls are really thin, I could here the floors creaking, and noise from adjoining rooms.

    Convenient, close to the station, close to the shops for a meal, although not a large room it was more spacious and accommodating than other places in the same general area we had stayed.

    Hot water unit started "screaming" in the middle of the night in the next room and took 10 mins to get turned off. Need to have the reception contact number on the telphone for easy access so you can phone reception. Internet computer was painfully slow.

    staff friendly and the room was big enough for family of four.

    refreshment in room wasn't enough, breakfast wasn't really good (especially luke warm coffee and tea). If you pay 10 pounds for breakfast, you'd regret it. The room was too hot.

    The staff were courteous and helpful.

    Although the accomodation was clean it was badly in need of updating. The d flooboards in the room creaked and must have disturbed other guests both below our room and on either side. The extracter fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy.

    In a nice area.

    Was given a smoking room when a non smoking requested, this was changed when requested. Rooms in a warren of corridors and need of redecoration.

    fan in room clean linen room was in the annex and although small was adequate quiet location

    cost and did not like an extra £25 added to theinvoice up fromnt 'in case of extras' - this has never been done before anywhere uncomfortable bed and pillows lack of water in bathroom - luckily this was after we had washed/showered we had drinks in the bar- Murphy's stout was sour and cider was flat

    good location for underground system. Getting to Wembley was easy.

    When we arrived the room we were given was like a steam room as the shower was stuck on hot and running. Obviously going for hours, the bed & room was damp & full of steam. We were told at first they had no other rooms but found one in the end.

    Good location to access major attractions in London

    Didnt cope with quantity of people arriving for breakfast at same time. Room could do with renovating (peeling paint/ wallpaper etc) but was clean.

    Staff were very helpful as we did not have much time from booking in to leaveing to see our event due to our late arrival as traffic was bad in getting to hotel due to a underground strike.
