    Location ideal for purpose(visiting relatives).Rooms clean & tidy with a good breakfast provided.

    Room located immediately next to a wedding. Very noisy till early hours and unsupervised children running around and making a nuisance of themselves

    The Hotel was good, unfortunately the Resturant wasn't open and the bar meal menu wasn't to our tastes.

    Directions and sign posts very good. Plenty of parking. Good service for food in the bar. Good size, comfortable room.

    A pile of sheets / towels left in the corridor near our room overnight. Shower was adequate but not very powerful.

    Friendly staff, good location

    Old fashioned, very dated, shower in my room made the noise of a pneumatic drill, small bar, restaurant closed.

    Helpful and friendly staff

    Generally the hotel was quite "dated" I found the cleanliness of the hotel was not of a high standard, in fact if I had cleaning materials with me I would have cleaned the bathroom before using it!! I arrived in the dark and the driveway to the hotel was not well lit making it difficult to find in the first place.

    "This is the third Quality Inn I have stayed in and in each occasion the standard was poor. Generally the hotels are old and in need of refurbishment. Food tends to be reasonable but expensive." (107366843)

    Receptionist was helpful in confirming directions to a business appointment

    Difficult place to locate. Room was basic no coffee facilities. Hotel was too warm. Bar atmosphere was non-existant. Facilities limited.

    "I was very pleased with this hotel apart from the bed, it was too hard and gave me back ache, but then it is very difficult to get a hotel with decent beds!" (107813064)

    Wobbly table in restaurant, icy cold plates to put breakfast on meant that my food chilled down so quickly that I had to leave it half way through, milk used for cereals was starting to turn sour, I have excellent taste buds and it spoiled my cereal.

    "no heating in room,no hot water,bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke, which was awful. Breakfast was average." (107477572)

    booking process fine, staff did bring an electric heater.

    They admitted to a boiler problem, although no good will gesture to encourage people to use the hotel again

    Away from traffic noise.

    Tatty decor & furnishings. Mainly foreign staff. Breakfast very rushed and staffed by a man who kept coughing and sneezing then touching the food dishes.

    Pleasant and helpful staff, particularly at breakfast

    Building maintenance lacking, ie. doors not fitting properly/sticking shut. Bed rather small and uncomfortable. Too much unavoidable noise from other visitors. 40% increase in cost since visit 2 years ago, no improvement in facilities

    waiting staff at breakfast time were very helpful and friendly.

    Receptionist was not very welcoming at all. Bathroom smelled and was quite grubby.

    Breakfast was nice. Staff were helpful and friendly.

    Room was not inviting: Bad/musty smell. Furniture was not of good quality, didn't dare put anything in the wardrobe in case it fell apart. Switch fell off the wall. Bit of a Faulty Towers really!

    IT WAS A BIT EMPTY AND THE FULL RANGE OF SERVICES WE NOT CLEARLY SET OUT. THE SHOWER DID NOT WORK PROPERLY.

    Hotel rooms need decorating badly, looks like it had not been done since 1970.... Also in my daughters and boyfriend's room they found a dirty pair of knickers in the drawer next to the bible....obviously the clearners did npt dp their job properly..Would definately not use this hotel again, and would definately not recommend it either..Also thought the room prices were a bit steep considering the state of the place..My brother has a first class hotel in Devon, and does not charge that much more for their rooms and the breakfast is loads better as well, tinned mushrooms indeed..STANDARDS..A letter of complaint will be in the post to the head office very very dissapointed........

    "Not impressed, we probably had a worse impression because of the people next door that were very loud and noisy until about 3am, we could hear every word that was said, and believe me, there was a lot of them!     Good direction to hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable room

    Hotel looked a little 'tatty' as if it was in need of a good paint and decoration. We did not know until we arrived that the dining room would be closed for dinner that night. Bar food was available but food was only just acceptable.
